a couple wks ago the DVC website said I had till Aug 08 to bank my Aug 07pts. then it got fixed to say I had till March of 08 to bank my 07 Aug pts.

Now I just checked again and now this is what it says:

(You may bank up to 50% of your Vacation Points for Member ID number xxxxxxxxxxxxxx until the end of August 2008. Select the Bank Vacation Points link below to bank Vacation Points online or contact Member Services) at (800)

anyone else check yet. what is right?

I don't have any 2007 points left, LOL so it won't do me any good to check. (I also have an August use year).

But I do know that with an August use year, you have until the end of March 2008 to bank your unused 2007 use year points. If the website says anything other than that, it is wrong.

Mine correctly says that I have no points to bank, sigh.
The planner says that you have until March 31 to bank 100% of your points if you have an August UY.

Same boat here. Since we're the first month affected by the change in the banking rules I'm hoping it's just a programming glitch. I sent a message to Member Services and we'll see what they have to say.

I also have an Aug UY. Currently, the website is incorrect based on a response I received from MS. It's saying I can only bank 50% until the end of Aug 08. HOWEVER, MS hasn't been consistent with their responses to members. I attached the response I received from MS dated 12/6/07. Let's hope this is accurate, because I am counting on being able to bank those points at the end of March if I can't get the ressies I want!!!

Thank you for contacting Member Services.
The Rule of 4 goes into effect on January 1, 2008. So, in your case,
with an August Use Year, you will have until March 31, 2008 to bank up
to 100% of you Annual Allotted Points.

For 2008, is my deadline to bank 100% January or March? With the new
rules going in on 1/1, I didn't know how this would impact me. I know in 2009, I will have until 3/31 to bank.
