No...I'm just heading out to drop DS off for school camp. 7 am drop off. He's going for 3 nights . Will be back soon...so don't get too comfortable in last.

How is the door project?

I'm not sure what they did on Friday, they were working, but it really didn't show much in what I could see.

Tomorrrow they will hang the actual door, it's been nice being able to go back and forth between the two apartments without having to go outside. They'll have to patch up the walls, don't know if they're doing any painting. We're going to visit my folks Thursday for the weekend so that might put a little hold on things. I hope they get it done before we go to DC that is coming up right around the corner!

Yesterday we went to Sears and bought the washer dryer. We don't know when they will deliver it since we don't when the construction will be done. It's funny our grocery store runs a promotion for buying gift cards. By purchasing Sears gift cards before going to the store, we earned $34 in free groceries come July when they mail out the vouchers. Since we did the same thing with my Disney necklace and a bunch of other stores, we have $200 in free groceries coming in the next couple weeks.

Here is the washer/dryer, just for us! We have a laundry room, but now that we have tenants there is no laundry after 9PM, except in our unit!

Fit-out is always the longest bit of any renovation/construction job.

Maybe they were making sure that your door jambs were in place and all square for them to hang the door.

I like your washer/dryer combo. It looks scary efficient! And that's a lot of purchase power to get that much in free groceries!

I bought $1400 for Sears for the washer. $200 in ARCO, since gas has gone up about $1 a gallon since you were here, and we drive a gas guzzling SUV as one of our cars. Plus $100 in eBay so double points is 3400. You get $1 per hundred points.

I just got back from the store and got another 1500 points cuz I had to get more to cover the warranty on the unit, plus we're diving up to see my parents in the Bay Area this weekend.

I haven't gotten a start date yet, but I should be starting Wednesday They're waiting on my drug test and stuff like that.

The last day at work was aggravating, which is why it was two weeks ago and I walked off and never went back.
