Slow day. Just updated my TR with the start of Epcot.

I got my photopass cd today, but I can't do anything with it until my dad gets off the computer

I'm home finally!!!!

OK I have to tell you about this, it was pretty gross....Fran and I went to a baby shower today. One of the games that we played was that they took 23 candy bars, chocolate based, and they nuked them in diapers. We had to try and identify what each candy bar was. Can you imagine about 20 grown women sniffing diapers? It was a pretty nasty game, every diaper looked like it was filled with poop and they were all warm. Ewwww

I got 13 right, Fran got 14, the winners got 15.

Then we had to guess the circumference of the mom to be, in centimeters so it sounded worst! I looked at my friend, (who is a VERY skinny gal) and noted that besides the different proportion, she and I were probably the same waist measurement. The scary part is that I took my waist line, calculated it into centimeters and then added a tiny bit. I was the closest one to guess! Good to know that my waistline measurement is the same as a pregnant woman!

Just back on. It's almost 5 pm here. Am having a very lazy afternoon. Sounds like you had your nose full at the baby shower. That's an awful game to play!

I almost wanted to puke when the first diaper came by, but after we had seen a few it was pretty numbing. I'm glad that Suzie is the only Mom to be that I know! I'm not interested in going to other showers!

I try and avoid them too..... Unfortunately, I know a heap more mums than you.

Well, I can promise you guys that if I ever have a baby shower, those kinds of games won't be played the diaper one is just gross.

Alison - I haven't started a PTR yet but we're looking at flying into LAX on the 18th or 19th of January. We'll probably be around till Friday and will spend 2 nights on the road (Friday and Saturday) slowly heading up to Silicon Valley.

DH and I are keen to have lunch with you and Fran (thanks for your kind invitation) and we still need to work out how it's all gonna work.

Do those dates work for you?

That should be fine...we can work out the details via PM, but we have no obligations in that time frame so we can certainly work something out!!! Yay! love the idea of meeting up. I would have suggested it last year when you were coming here, but I had F&W plans when you were going to be in LB. I think actually you were coming here the weekend that I had an unfortunate funeral on my B'day. So it will be way cool if we can get together!

Yeah that is one thing that we can usually avoid in the Gay community, but Suzie and John are dear friends of the Gay band and me and Fran (in fact I think we are the only ones from the gay band she invited to her shower) we have been to other showers, but the last one was coed and quite different, booze included and a TON of catered food!

They made the young guys do embarrasing things it was quite amusing. I better sign off and go to bed. We are sleeping in #2 and Fran is already over there, she is probably wondering where I am!
