Hey! I had a busy week! That's why I knew there was no way in Hell I could join you at the world this week, with our concert today, I was Busy, busy, busy.....writing the program organizing everything (I am the Band Managing Director) and just getting things going.

I am so *effing* tired tonight after the concert. Y'all wouldn't believe what is involved in producing an event with 45 people on stage and big instruments, chairs, music stands, the fact that I have to video tape the event so I can submit an audition tape to DLR each year so we can play at the park and get in free once a year....

Thank god we picked up take out for dinner. I'm still in my black dress and Fran is in her tux (sans tie and jacket) but we haven't even changed out of our concert clothes which is a definite indication of our tired level. Normally we at least change once we get home. Ugh, sleep will be helpful and then we can get back to normal.

I'm glad you're back Sharon! Kim and I just could not keep up the witty repartee that you and Dana share!

Alison - sounds like you had a busy week. I tried to log on when I got to San Francisco via DH's laptop to say hi. The internet connection at the hotel was S.L.O.W. and I gave up. I kicked myself for not getting your cell phone number as I really wanted to find out how you were doing. Oh well, next time!

Yay! I'm just glad we're back into our normal routine! Things suck here, we have one unit (a very nice upgraded one) that has been showing for several months, and one property that was just completely remodeled after having a 20 yr tenant, that is about to go on the market, plus her father's place needs to get ready to go.

And last weekend a tenant who has been struggling (meaning paying part of her rent on the 1st and the rest on the 8th or 12th or whenever her paycheck gets deposited) gave notice. So now we have four apartments with no rent...UGH! Plus we have to refund her security (or what she is due minus cleaning)

I hope that our refinancing loan comes through....

So I'm uploading pictures for the second day of my TR and I apparently took 231 pictures in ONE DAY. Out of about 500 pics for my whole trip. Wow. Most of them are scenery around the MK, though.

I also have pictures of my pumpkins I did last night if anyone wants to see them, but I have to wait for these pics to finish uploading first

Good morning! How are you today?

Still tired. I have to run out for a few minutes. We had a tenant give notice a week ago, and I have to go hand deliver our acceptance of notice since the rent is due tomorrow. I just looked at the Halloween candy that Fran bought over a month ago and promised not to touch it. The bag was small in the first place and she ate 8 of the 38 pieces of candy!

We get more kids than that!

See you back in a few after the tenant and the store. Then I start my Prime Rib!
