Do yr prospective employers make allowances for pre arranged holidays? Ours do. But it usually comes out of leave without pay.

I think if I had airfare, they'd be okay with approving it, but I don't have my airfare yet, so... I don't know.

Type it up in Word and then go back when INSPIRATION hits.

Speaking from the OverASSchiever point of view, I'm usually about an or two update ahead before I post (cut and paste) the last one...but it has usually had a couple of re-works. I even populate my picture references into the word document so that I don't have to worry about it on the Dis.

But then I don't have the fan base that you do; so it doesn't need to be THAT perfect!

That's what I do too. When I started my PTR, I had the first six updates ready before I launched it. Now I have so few updates until it gets closer, I can do them one at a time.

But it's right after, maybe if.you work the holiday you cam take time off. :

Not yet. I'm going to see what happens tomorrow and if I get the other job, then I'm going to go.

I think that's smart, I was wondering why you planned to burn the first bridge before you had another in front of you.

Because I had no other choice. I couldn't afford to go to the doctor to get a note, and then my mom basically forced me to call my godmom, who works for a doctor, and beg her for a note. My boss told me that if I don't have a note, I can't come back.

I understand the catch 22 part of it, but it's one thing not to show up with a note as opposed to going in and turning in your keys. I'm going to send you a PM....different from our other stream of PMs...

If I don't show up with a note, I'm fired. If I show up with a note, I'm stuck at this job I dread going to. I can't even get the note until about 10am tomorrow anyway, so I have time to go to my interview at the other facility.

Tell me about it! I'm being considered for two positions, but I'd rather have the unit secretary one. If I have to take CNA, I will, since I think they do 8 hour shifts.

All the hospitals out here do 12 hour shifts. I don't know how people do it, I would die!
