Here We Go Again...Jeanne Will Visit Us This Weekend!

It appears that hurricane Jeanne will be paying central Florida a visit this weekend. They are currently predicting landfall around Vero Beach on Sunday morning. It will then track up and through Orlando. They are saying that we should expect 65+ mph winds in the Orlando area. Gee, this is really starting to get old! I'm never sure if you folks are getting the news regarding the hurricanes. I'd know I'd hate walking into something I wasn't expecting. If you are already getting this information and would rather I didn't post it, please let me know.

I've been dreading this since Ivan !! I'm due to fly out on weds and hope that thing doesn't do too much damage.
I've been saving for the past year for this and i'm not going to let it ruin it!!

How long is the hurricane season usually? We travel at the end of October and I just want to know if we should be thinking of some contingency plans just in case.

There seems to be no let up with this hurricane season
