We did do the breakfast...

I guess, if you get a good time and will be awake and don't plan on doing anything else at that time, it's worth it. BUT, don't wake up just for it, don't delay a spa treatment, miss a movie, etc.

Thanks for your feedback. We will be boarding late-ish and I was worried about not getting tickets. Learning that it is not as great as it seems makes a difference. We will still try because we need to stand in line for other things anyway but it's good to know it will be okay to miss it.

Not from the time we left Port Canaveral, no. The entire itinerary is in the same time zone.

Do you have to pay for the breakfast? I would think not since meet and greet tickets are handed out at the same time. We had a character breakfast in 2008. We had tickets in our room telling us what day and where that was going to occur.

No, there was no charge. You just had to request the tickets in the same manner that you requested tickets for the Princess Gathering.
