Move if needed. Posting while on a bus to MK. Crowds have not been unmanageable. Managed most of epcot rides yesterday, most twice. Did a lot of MK today. FP4+ were not too hard to get. They let us in for a few FP 15 minutes early. Buses have been horrible. From PORS, waited almost 40 minutes at the bus stop twice today. Princesses were walk in today at 3ish.

I think so far my HS days have been the worst. We also were able to refresh plenty for MK on Tuesday, and I had a lot of luck at HS today. However, the HS crowds on Monday and today have been horrific.

Hoping that Epcot tomorrow is similar to your experience.

Always good to hear from folks in the parks and their experiences. Sounds like you know what you are doing. It drives me crazy to read all the whining about long lines and crowds. Our experience is similar to yours... If you know what you are doing and how to utilize MDE/FP+ effectively you can see and do plenty at the parks. We arrive on Friday.

People just like to whine. We go every other weekend or so and have no issues because we know how to use the system

Last week the crowds were insane! Mainly because of Presidents’ Day and marathon but it was hard to even get same day fast pass if you decided to change plans. It felt almost like holiday time to me.

Also here! Spent most of yesterday in Epcot which felt empty. HS had long lines in the afternoon but plenty of FPs to refresh for. MK felt empty during evening EMH. Definitely very tolerable so far, hoping the cold over the next few days will keep it that way!

At Studios now and I have not been able to get a 4th fp. MDE says all the passes have been distributed for all the parks.

At AK today. Feels very full but maybe due to limited pace on walkways. Waits are long. And it is chilly. We are from pa so long pants and a hoodie kind of chilly.

Also from PA. It's in the 40s just outside of Philly. I'm wearing long pants and a hoodie (although, not standing outside all day!). A chilly day at Disney is always better than a day at work!

FYI Last week was school vacation week for Massachusetts public schools. (Entire week off.)

I had a friend in last weekend. She got a one day ticket to Animal Kingdom Friday night. I hooked her up to my MDE account so I could make our plans. We had an absolutely awesome time with no real advanced planning. I do know my way around & that helped a lot. Grabbed a 10:15 fast pass for the safari on the way to the park. We arrived around 9:45 and slowly made our way back to the safari. We stopped to watch a bird show in front of the tree. Had several PhotoPass pictures taken and enjoyed all the sites.

I managed to move our Everest FP up to 1:55 from 5:45. That helped. We did gorilla falls after the safari then made our way to pandora for margaritas. Looked at everything & took a few more photo pass pictures. Toured all of Asia before our Everest. Had a quick service lunch in pandora where I was able to swap our late lion king FP for a 6:00 FoP!!! Score. Did standby for lion king and walked right into bugs life. We walked through every land and completely enjoyed the day!

Just left AK and had a nice time today. Busy but not unbearable, lines were long but I saw so many FPs available until around 4 when they started running out. While in the safari FP line (145min standby) I saw at least a dozen FPs for the safari in the same time window 1-2pm. So small groups could easily grab overlapping FPs. Picked up FoP with less than 5 minutes of refreshing, even though the line this morning was all the way to Africa!

People have no clue what they are doing. I heard so many things, people thinking they had to pay for FPs, people trying to scan into the FP line and that failing and then being like “what’s a fastpass” when the CM told them they didn’t have one. I overheard many people saying their TA booked everything so they probably didn’t even have the app and were just sticking to the 3 FPs they had. So I think smart planners can get a lot done, long lines don’t necessarily mean no FPs

Well..I did all my planning and had fast passes and will have to say MK yesterday was crazy. I wanted to change one of our fast passes at 12 and none were left for the day. The shortest wait for a line was 40 minutes..and this began at 10!

I've had the experience of MDE saying that there were no FP+ left for in a park for that day. Sometimes it's just a glitch, especially if it's early in the day. If it isn't a glitch, then some repeated refreshing will often show some available FP+ for that park. The situation changes so fast.

Let people keep believing there are none left for the day. Im good with that. The Whole refresh tips, drop time tips, et. Many of us have reached the point of, go ahead and think what you want, assume what you want, and the rest of us will keep doing our thing because at the end of the day the more people listen to bloggers and negative posters, the easier it is for those of us using the system to continue doing so. We will stop telling people about it, how to do it, when, etc. The negativity and whining has hit a high point and I know a certain group of people who really do know the system and tips normally willing to share info have been attacked enough on here to decide, guess what folks, you are on your own. They all message one another in private but I think the number of tips you used to see on the boards about refresh and drops etc from people who do it a ton and very successsfully, is going to drop significantly.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I personally have never been attacked for offering a tip, and I will continue to offer them when I feel they could help make someone's WDW vacation more enjoyable. Only a tiny fraction of people who go to WDW even read these boards, so I don't think we're having that much effect on things in general. But if if can help a few people, I'm all for it.

I use refresh with quite a bit of success ... but what are “drops”?
