:cool1: YEAH, have a blast! :cool1:

A little overcast but sun is trying hard to come out.

I live here in the OC. I go to DL/DCA often. I do not for the life of me understand why TSM does NOT have a FP???? Anyone know why????

Yea Momrek, I'm in Corona myself, and go quite often. Never understood this myself. But my dw and I go so often that we just single rider this usually if the line is over 20 mins. :)

Because it does not need one. If you added FP to that attraction the wait time in the main queue would become astronomical.

OP, a little rain yesterday and the locals (and some out of towners) do not come out to play! Enjoy your day.

They really should have a fp...

All the other major attractions do. Maybe they underestimated how much of a hit it was going to be. At least that line moves fairly quick

It is my understanding they simply don't have the space for the FP machines and FP line. They shoehorned the attraction in that space and they don't have the room for a FP system. And when you step back and look at the area, it becomes pretty clear.

And I thought they didn't have single rider for TSMM anymore? They used to have a single rider line, but it hasn't been available for quite some time.

:thumbsup2 Never tried it. Where is it?

See living here and going alllllllot, I think of SOARIN' where there have been a good many times I can literally walk on SOARIN' yet it does have an FP. But seriously, every single time we walk over to TSM there is always always a 40 minute or longer line.

I would love to see a flip of the SOARIN' FP and give it to TSM just to see how it would be. :)

I don't know if this is why they got rid of the SR line on TSMM or not, but when they did offer it they would ask people in the standby line if they were OK with a SR joining them or not, and I think a lot of people said no.

FP does not work effectively on every attraction. There are a lot of factors that determine whether a FP will actually help the queue or hinder it. I am sure if Disney's line studies showed that FP would help TSMM, they would implement it.

By the way, TSMM at WDW (which has FP) usually has a VERY long wait time and event he FP return line runs a wait. It's so awful that we didn't go anywhere near it when visiting the World last week.

We left Anaheim this morning. On Friday when we did DCA, it was early entry for resort guests, which we weren't.

I stood in the fp line at regular park opening and had our fp at 8:25 for 2:30-3:30 return. FP were gone by 9:30am. (The ride was down twice that morning, including at park open.) I sent the family on ahead to ride Luigis whole I stood for fp. We then went right to TSMM. The line was a 40 min wait already. Of course, that was a hot, sunny, beautiful day.

I also don't see where they could physically install the fp area and handle those lines for it around that area. It's cramped in there.

Yesterday it rained in DL during our EE morning and for a couple of hours after. Lines were shorter than I expected in Tomorrowland because of it. Everyone made up for it later in the day as the park was extremely crowded. I wanted to go on IASM, but the line was 90 mins all day so I made the choice to drop it from the to-do list. :(

What a day so far. We just got to our hotel to check in and rest for a couple hours before we head to our DR at BTM BBQ. Here is how the day played out after TSM so far.

Waited 40 min for TSM
Waited 20 min for Goofy SS.(Not sure why they need to whiplash you throughout the ride?)
Walk on Mermaid (ride stopped for a few min as soon as we got on.)
Lunch at Pizza and Pasta.
Watched end of Phineas and Ferb Dance Party.
5 min wait for GRR, got stuck for about 5 min at the last drop, got a little wet
Walked through Redwood Trail
Got Soarin FP (wait was posted 25 min) Pulled 12:27 return 1:35
Hopped to DL (OMG its so packed!)
Rode train to Toontown
Got Roger Rabit FP
Waited 25 min for Go Coaster
Grabbed quick snack
Rode Roger Rabbit w/FP (FP line was a joke, Standby was longer but we stood there in the FP queue a good 10 min before it moved.)
Wait for IASM was 60 min at about 2pm, passed on it for now
Got BTMRR FP at 2:05 return 2:45
Rode BTMRR waited 40 min. (25 min posted wait)
Got Haunted Mansion FP at 2:51 return 7:55
Rode train from NO Square to Main St and left.

Now working on a plan for tonight to use the 4 sets of FP we have. Honestly was not planning on getting RSR FP today so I have some serious adjusting to do but will save us from our plan to ride it standby tomorrow, will just get FP again. We are going to try Fantasmic! tonight but its so crowded I highly doubt we are going to get anywhere near there to see it. Will post our tonights activities later.

Wow- Haunted Mansion now has Fast Pass? Everybody was saying no Fast Pass this year. Sure hope they keep them for the rest of the season!

Oh I too hope that this is true!! *fingers crossed*

We were there this past weekend and I can confirm that HM DID have FP! Didn't realize it until yesterday though.

Yeah we were going for Splash FP but saw HM FP so we got them instead..Evening went like this...

Left Hotel at 5
Rode BTMRR w/FP
Rode IASW (20 min wait at 5:30)
Arrived at BTM BBQ at 6:05(6pm ressies)
Waited 25 min for our table
Waited 10 min for any server to show up to table.
Waited 5 more min for drinks.
Waited 5 more min for food.
Ate
waited 15 min for check.
Left BTM BBQ at 7:15
Rode Soarin w/ FP (took about 25 min)
Rode RSR w/FP (took about 15 min)
Hopped to DL
Rode HM w/FP
Caught tail end of F!
Headed down main st watched some of the fireworks and watched them as we walked back to hotel.

BTM BBQ was frustrating to say the least. We almost walked out a couple times but couldnt see me walking out on a $82 bill for 1 round of food and we didnt even ask for any 2nds of anything. We also had to pay $7 for 2 adult drinks(Iced tea in our case) which should have been included in the cost. We would never eat there again even though the food was good. Cost and lack of service blew it.

F! was jammed as we thought it might be, still managed to catch the end with a semi decent view when we walked out of HM. Seems like a major hastle to get good seats for it.

RSR was awesome. We'll FP it again in the morning. My boys were troopers but we're all whooped. Get to sleep in tomorrow a bit then a day at CA.

These reports are super helpful for me! I hope you post it all!
Thanks!
Kerri

We went on Saturday and it was a horrible experience. Almost everyline we were waiting in either broke down or had a 60+ min wait.

The other days we went were great but Saturday I just wanted to sit down and cry.
