Got here at 8 am open, did all of tomorrow land and then went to ohana for a 1045 breakfast. Back now, did 7 DMT, and pirates. Now in line for big thunder, FP line almost to frontier land, and then created a queue with masking tape for us outside FP ENTRANCE. They are saying 30-60 min wait with FP. I will update. Having s blast though!

Update: only needed up being 29 minutes or so. Park is definitely packed. Getting up early and Having spare magic bands/getting SDFP was key. Kids are now innings runs getting soaked in Storybook circus which is good because all waits are too high right now.

I would be quite upset if I had to wait 30 minutes for a Fast Pass reservation, but sounds like there were system glitches that slowed things down.

I assume you mean you used spare Magic bands (on a separate MDE account) to get 3 extra fast passes (per person) via the kiosk?

So you essentially had 6 Fast Passes per person?

I wonder when Disney will close this loophole .. how many available Fast Passes are being gobbled up by people gaming the system the system like this? Great for people who know you can do it .. but that means there were less "4th" fast passes available to people at the park that day.

This is no judgement to you .. now that I have spare Magic Bands .. i would do the EXACT same thing. Heck, because I have days left on a no-expiration tickets . .I don't even have to wait until that day to get my Fast Passes . .i could make 3 fast passes at 60 days out and another 3 fast passes per person at 30 days out.

I am just shocked the system ALLOWS Magic bands to be used that were not scanned for entry.

Trust me, I was torn I making SDFP. I had the bands and was going to see if I needed them/could even get anything. There was plenty of availability for HM, JC, and PotC so I grabbed those.

I am always shocked though to realize how few ppl in the park do any research. It blows my mind how many ppl did not make FP ahead of time. It's really a small minority that use this loophole I think. Thy should close it and the there will be no controversy.

Remember, folks, when you use this 'loophole' to get more than your allotted fastpasses, you are potentially blocking out another family from getting ANY. Is it really that important to have 6 FP+ for your Magic Kingdom morning if it means that a kid who may only visit once in their lifetime doesn't even get ONE?

Yes, That's what we did. Purchased extra magic bands and had them activated but not linked to your MDE account.
We created a new MDE account and then we linked the new MB's to the new account.
We could make 3 extra same day FP+ at a kiosks in the park.

This is just like the loophole with children being able to order adult counter service meals when you were on the ddp. Disney must know about it, just like they knew about the other, but they decide to not do anything about it.

Does anybody know if this loop hole is still working as of now? I wonder what will happen when they start allowing us to make 4th FP on the MDE app? I have several old bands and cards of my parents who will not be going this time so this might be an option if the loophole isn't closed by July.
