DH and I arrived yesterday, having pushed back our original arrival date of 9-9. Didn't rent a car like we normally do, thinking there would be issues with traffic or road closings. Neither was true. Had to wait long for a bus, as the ME cast member directed us to the wrong line. Wish they had the names of the resorts as you enter the lines instead of just the numbers.

Anyway, crowds were low. We spent 8 hours between Epcot and Magic Kingdom. We were able to do 12 rides-all fast passes with no waits. About a third of the rides we really wouldn't have needed it anyway! Had lunch at Sunshine Seasons and dinner with Sonny Eclipse. Went back to the hotel by 7, relaxed and fell asleep by 9, as we had been up at 2 am to catch our flight.

Sorry for the length...just really wanted to thank you all for the tips I have learned, especially with fast passes. I wanted to share it with all those in the standby lines, but figured I should keep it secret. Eventually more and more people will find out about it, and the "trick" won't work as well!!

Animal Kingdom crowds back to normal for this time of year today.

AK didn't seem too bad to us, but we avoided pandora and were there pretty early. Had our first fast pass at 10:00 for EE and standby was walk on. There was a bit of a line for the safari, but I didn't notice the wait time. We skipped our fast pass at Dinosaur because it was so hot. We opted for lunch at Rainforest and went back to the hotel. We are gettin' old, and yesterday wore us out.
Heading back to MK tomorrow first thing and planning on trying to maximize our fast passes again. Have a feeling it won't work as well if it's a lot more crowded.

Ha. I know what you mean. Sometimes in my head I'm think "Uh oh! Now everyone reading here knows and will do it too." LOL.

I feel bad, because I like to be helpful. But I suppose I can be selfish when it comes to Disney and rides. If we keep it amongst ourselves maybe it won't spread so fast! I am pretty confident most don't know how to maximize their fp's because almost every attraction in MK had current availability, and some of the standby lines were quite long.

Heading out to MK and hoping I have the same luck today!
