Hi All!

My family is at WDW right now, and DH and I have an unexpected window for a "date night", as our teen boys are off in the parks on their own. Where can DH and I go for a drink or two and appetizers? We are staying at BLT, and we can pretty much go anywhere, but we obviously don't have a reservation, as this was an unexpected date window. We asked for recommendations at the BLT lobby and the folks were very nice, but not very helpful. What's open and has yummy drinks and apps but doesn't require an ADR?

Thanks so much!

California Grill bar. Go over and get our name on the list for walk-ups for the bar. Or try to join the walk-up list for a table right now in the app.

Or monorail over to TTC and walk to Poly for Tambu Lounge, Trader Sam’s, or Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace. Or all three!

I think Citricos is closed Tuesday, but if it isn’t I’d say try the bar or walk up there too.

Nothing is a given at this hour, but good luck.

Have fun!

If you're not averse to driving or Lyft/Uber, Three Bridges at CSR!

Can't go wrong with the Poly! It'll be very tough to get into Trade Sam's Grog Grotto, but you can always grab a drink at the Tiki Terrace, or at Tambu Lounge upstairs. Or walk over the Grand Floridian for the Beaty and the Beast-themed Enchanted Rose. Or both!

Saw several folks today pre-gaming Trader Sam’s with Tambu Lounge 🤣🤣🤣 I cried foul as I only had a bottle of water. (Rookie mistake….)

Ha! I did notice last week that many people waiting in the Trader Sam's hallway seemed to have suspiciously itchy backs. 😂 😂

It was raining cats and dogs today/tonight. The monorails weren't running, so we caught a bus to the Poly. We tried to get in to Trader Sam's and were told it was a two hour wait, and then we tried to crash the Tambu Lounge, and there were no tables available. So, we walked to the GF in the rain, and we found a lovely, empty table in the back corner of the Enchanted Rose. Sam was our waiter, we had a couple of drinks, and we split the truffle fries and the mini smoked brisket sliders. YUM!! We had a wonderful date night! We might have a window on Thursday night this week for another "date night" and if we're able to pull it off, we'd like to go somewhere on the Boardwalk, as we've never been there before. What do people recommend for a drinks and appetizer option at the Boardwalk? With your recommendations, hopefully, we can make a ressie between now and Thursday night!

Woohoo!! I'm so glad you had such a great time. =)

I know a lot of the Boardwalk venues are not open right now, but people always speak very highly of the Bellevue Lounge at the Boardwalk Villas. Or, you could hop the Skyliner to the Riviera and get drinks at Bar Riva, or relax upstairs in the Voyageurs Lounge. It really is a beautiful place, especially on a clear night.

You'd find me at Belle Vue Lounge at BWI. And if you have applicable admission, a stroll around the world at Epcot afterwards for more snacking/beverages.

Abracadabar on the Boardwalk is a cute little magic-themed bar for drinks (no reservations though). Ale and Compass has a nice lounge as well.

Oh if only the Crew's cup were open! Me, I would take the Skyliner over to Bar Riva at the Riv. Love the indoor outdoor feeling. Can get food and drink. Good bartenders. Highly recommend it.
