Hi All! We are about to start our 3rd day at DLR and I thought I'd post a couple of things in case anyone might find them helpful.
First, as always, the crowds. I haven't felt like they were too bad. We did tsmm mid-afternoon Monday and only waited about 35 minutes. Screamin was only about a 20 minute wait around the same time. At one point on Sunday afternoon Peter Pan was under 40 minutes. But then some other lines for things we usually walk on to were longer, like the carousel (we had to wait about 4 cycles) and Ariel was about 15 minutes. I don't remember ever waiting for either of those before (we do usually go on "less crowned" days)
I havent felt the "people crunch" either, like where you are crammed into that walkway in adventure land or jammed in on main after the parades. Touring plans said those days ended up being 9s but I did not feel that way at all. I'm wondering if I've just adjusted my expectations?
As for the parade setup it seemed to me that they are just moderating the extremes that some of us were talking about. I saw some people sitting on blankets with some room between them (pretty obviously saving a spot) but they only made people who were alone on a large blanket fold it up and not save that whole spot as far as I saw. I think you could easily send someone to get food or go to the bathroom with no worries. I think they've just given the CMs a tool to use if they see someone being ridiculous.
They are out of the Electrical parade AP buckets in Disneyland and I don't think they are getting more but you can still get the ones at DCA and get the dollar refills in either park.
The parade was great, just as I remembered but I wish they had some other big entertainment thing, like another parade or show or something, I miss that.
As always we are having a really fun time!
