Magic morning amazing ness this morning! We did Peter Pan, carousel, Pinocchio, casey jr, dumbo, tea cups, castle walk through and small world by 9:30am!

That's great! I'm happy for you - and happy to hear that Tuesday morning wasn't totally crazy like other reports from this summer. I was debating moving our MM to Thursday, but now I think I will keep it on Tuesday. :hippie:

I have to say "Congratulations!" as well!:thumbsup2

The Magic Mornings we've encountered over the past year, have all been pretty ridiculous(lines), and grossly overcrowded!

Sounds like you hit one at just the right time---Good for you!:cool1:

Magic Morning not so magic for us this AM at DCA. Went straight to Toy Story - they weren't opening on time and didn't know when they'd open. So we went to RSR to ride single rider, then did Screaming - by they time we got back to Toy story, it said a 15 min wait - it wad actually 35 mins & they were only filling half if the vehicles.

It's awesome that you had such a magical magic morning! pixiedust:pixiedust:
Great planning to do those Fantasyland rides early during MM, they can get ridiculous even by 10 am!

We were in the parks July 21-25 and did regular rope drop at opposite parks of EMH. Monday and Tuesday, in general, were much busier than Wednesday and Thursday. Then, Friday rope drop at Disneyland was the quietest of the week. I was shocked. I don't think it is worth guessing crowd levels in the summer. It just seems to be completely random.

We had similar experiences on both the 12th and the 13th. MM at DL on the 12th went great. Started out with a bang as we were chosen to be the Opening Family!! We were able to ride Peter Pan and Alice first thing with no wait. My kids and husband then went to try for Matterhorn, but found the line was too long already. I rode Alice again while they did this, had maybe a 5 minute wait. Then we all rode Snow White, Toad, and Pinocchio together. We didn't ride Dumbo or the teacups because my kids weren't interested, but they both looked easy to get on when we passed by.

The 13th EE at DCA was a complete bust. We wanted to do TSMM first and were one of the first in line. It wasn't going when we arrived, but I asked and was told they were just doing final checks, so we were expecting a very short wait. The CM instructed us to form a line a few feet away.

After about 10 minutes, I noticed others approaching this same CM and then leaving rather than joining the line. I waited a couple minutes more, then asked her again what was going on. This time she said they found a problem during final checks and it could be a while before the ride was up! I was REALLY angry ... not because the ride was down, but because they didn't bother to tell those of us who had been waiting in this line during our precious EE time that anything was wrong. Evidently we were just supposed to guess. By that time 15 minutes of EE was gone, TSMM was down, and I knew there would be no way we could get on RSR without a big wait. We decided to head over to DL -- by the time we got there, the lines at the gate were pretty long, even though it was 30 minutes before opening.

TSMM was also down on our DCA EE two days earlier, but at least that day we were told as we were entering Paradise Pier rather than being left to wait in line in the dark.
