HEre now, the site is a pain in the behind! Can't access it, always having to close it then get back in. Very unwielding! Just tried to make changes to FP+ and it "lost" my 2 kids' ressie. MAJOR PITA!!! Also, park hopped today and went to AK, posted wait time on Dinosaur was 60 min for Standby, we waited in line (8 of us), rode it, and 30 min later we were outside the building planning where to go next. That's more than a bit off on the wait time. Wondering, as others have before me, if Disney is posting inflated wait times. Hmmmm? Again, 3 FP are not enough, I always go at busy times, Spring Break & such, & we always use more than 3. And we don't always use Rope Drop or EMH either, in order to get more than 3. So Disney expects me to shell out more than $30 per ride? I love Disney, but that is not worth it. And before you say "there's StandBy", I say to you; I've never waited more than 30 min for a ride (during Peak time) and have gotten more than 3 FP's a day (also during peak time) and now you are gonna limit me to 3 and tough noogies? Or else I'll have to pay more for it? Disney tickets already cost more than Universal! And now you're gonna make us pay for add'l FP's? Universal may be getting my vacation dollars from now on!

The idea of inflated wait times really chaps me because the DAS system is affected by this. DAS is supposed to ensure guests needing accommodations are waiting an equal amount of time as those not needing accommodations. The DAS return time is issued based on the posted standby wait time.

Were coming in April, this will be our 3 time to wdw there's a group of 9 of us 3 adults 6 kids. We pretty
Much had the fast pass down to a science, but now with the mm+ from what I'm reading everyone hates it, and I didn't know that you had to pay if you wanted to use more than 3 fast passes a day??!! That's nuts!

That's not the case. Where did you hear that?

The truth is that you CAN'T even PAY to get any more than 3 FP+ a day.

Where has that been announced?

It's a rumor for now (pay for FP) & I hope it doesn't come to fruition. We already pay a premium price, the only offset for that premium, in regards to price, was the free FP. If they make us pay for FP, we won't be back.
Just spent an hr on MDE trying to get my kids back on my FP+, to no avail. They are on my ressie but can't get their ticket to show up or FP+ ressies to show up AT ALL! Guess I'll be spending time at Guest Relations tomorrow, & I am NOT happy about the prospect!

And now you're gonna make us pay for add'l FP's?

I haven't read anything about paying for additional FP+. Was this an option once you are in the parks? Where did this info come from. Curious.

I found it buried in the original post of this thread.

As mesaboy2 said, "Jumps to conclusion."

It hasn't been announced, speculation on here, many threads dedicated to this. My $30 a ride analogy is the fact that a single day park ticket costs over $90, so it breaks down to $30 a ride if you only get 3 FP with that limitation. Clearer now?

Didn't jump to conclusion, just a speculation made by many on here. Sorry I didn't make that clear in original post.

Nope.

If you only do 3 rides, you are doing something wrong.

How about this, before (during Peak time & not using EMH) we would be able to get a minimum of 6 FP's a day, and we never waited more than 30 min for any ride we rode StandBy. now we will be limited to 3 FP an will need to ride StandBy for the rest. I highly doubt that we will get to ride the same amount of rides as before and definitely not without significantly increased wait times. The value (and hence the cost per ride) has probably doubled since we will not be able to get as many FP's in a day. And since we will not wait in StandBy significantly longer than before, our price per ride has gone up significantly. Therefore the value of a Disney vacation has gone down for our family.

Fastpass lines were much longer than the standby lines when we were there in early December. This whole system is a failure as I see it. I too want more than three FP's. If you have cards as we did as well as magic bands, you can make additional FP's with the cards. Still, the FP lines were rediculous. We did Toy Story. Stand by was empty all the way up to the Potato Head. FP was nearly out the door. That is the lowest Stand by line I have ever seen at that ride. We had fast passes and got in that line. We could have should have gotten in stand by. I noticed stand by lines slack all week while FP lines were full .

I wouldn't be surprised if Disney didn't come out with a pay FP system. It's been done at other parks such as Six Flags with their Flashpass and Universal with their Front of the Line Pass.

But..but...that's can't be true! That's not what people who HAVEN'T been there are saying!
