Here now/HS early magic

Great! Look forward to the report. When you get a chance, would you mind adding today's date to the thread title so we know for future reference. Thanks! :)

Looking forward to your report. Did you just ask them how many people had bought tickets - did they mention what the 'sold out' number would be to the 'limited number of tickets sold'? Thanks for taking the time to share:-) We have EMM for MK in late August and are *considering* EMM for DHS.

The morning went really well. They put wrist bands on you at 7:30 and we were let in at exactly 7:45. We were able to ride toy story 4 times, meet all the characters that were available and rode star tours. We ate breakfast around 9 and then did our fast passes for tower and Aerosmith. The breakfast was very good and they have a photo pass person in the breakfast to take your picture on the "red carpet". We are celebrating our anniversary and they brought a special dessert out and even took our picture. The reason I know there were only 82 people there was as they were checking you in the paper said 82. I am sorry I can't speak on the Jedi training because I didn't need to worry about it. We will be doing the magic kingdom one later this week, so I can make a comparison then. It was very nice, and I felt we did get a lot done but I don't know if they value is there for a family. This trip is only hubby and I. If my kids were here, not sure I would spend the money. Any questions, I will try and answer them.

So was it Buzz & Woody, Mickey & Minnie and Olaf?

It sounds like you had a great time :). There is an EMM scheduled on our DHS day that we are not attending and I am nervous about how this new event may throw a bit of a wrench in my day...

82 sounds like there is likely very little impact on rope drop, but what were the standby lines like at RNR?

I currently plan to do RNR first as I have a TSMM FP for later, but wondering if I should switch them out...was hoping to avoid the stampede to Toy Story at rope drop if possible, but I can do it if I need to!

We went to tower around 9:30 and there was a 50 minute wait. We then went to RNR and it was 50 minutes at 10:15 am.

Thank you for your report! I'll be trying this out on Aug. 22nd! Did you find it was walk on for Toy Story each ride? What did you like / not like at breakfast? Thank you!

Good report! Thanks! We might do it if its offered in early November. Big thing for me to decide though would be how jedi training sign ups with it go and if they take long.

This is the big reason I WANT to book it as well but I haven't as I'm not sure I can actually get there that early with a 2 year old coming from AKL.

I hear you. I'm worried about the time as well, traveling alone this trip with DS who is disabled - we never open parks because he doesn't do well with rushing in the mornings or rope drop crowds. But last fall we did a MK PPO breakfast and glad I tried it. We'll have to hit the hay earlier than usual - we usually close parks down - and "man up" and get up. He loves breakfast, TSMM, Star Tours and meeting characters. This was designed for him .... and finally get Buzz & Woody together again. I just gave up on that one, the chaos inside - he can't handle it and I hate it. I think the effort will be worth it.

Have a good trip!
