Hello!

I'm at wdw right now with my boyfriend (his first visit!) we are just at the halfway point, thought I'd do some quick reviews. I'm already dreading going home!

Hotel- we are staying at Caribbean Beach, in Barbados 13. My first time in anything other than a value. Hotel is gorgeous and I would definitely stay here again. Room is perfect for bus stop and very close to custom house which was nice when we checked in late at night. About 5 min walk to old port royale which is easy.

Food- we are on ddp, it is A LOT of food. We were beached whales on the first day after BOG lunch and raglan road for dinner. Once we figured out how to pace our food better we are enjoying it more. It's good value vs paying out of pocket at the moment from the UK as the currency rate is so bad and is lovely not to have to look at the prices. Best meals so far have been Teppan Edo and Jiko.

Parks and such -feel busier than expected but with efficient use of fast pass+ we haven't really had to queue for anything much. Never used magicbands before but love them, we haven't had any issues and make everything so easy. We did mnsshp on the 31st we enjoyed it and loved the parade but probably wouldn't go on actual Halloween again as it was really too busy. Couldn't really meet many characters without spending the whole party in a queue. We have tickets for mvmcp on Tuesday so hoping that will be quieter to catch more characters.

So that's everything so far. Not really any negatives to report - touch wood - we are having a great holiday. Let me know if anyone has any questions about what's going on in the parks and I will try to answer them :)

OOOOOoooo, is that the first MVMCP? Because those are usually pretty crowded (at least last year's was). Hope your luck is better.

Have fun and enjoy the rest of your trip. Nov is the best time to visit imo. We love CBR too. We stayed in Martinique and loved the location. Such a fun resort.

We felt like last years first party wasn't very crowded AT ALL! I guess it depends on what you're doing. We did rides and not characters that time!

I agree with this, the crowd and peopel moving around will feel more crowded but they will not be doing many rides so it'll be pretty easy to get a good mix of party and mk.

Anytime you focus on rides at a hard-ticket party , it will never feel very crowded . Most people who pay for party tickets focus on the party-exclusive activities .

Thanks for sharing with us! It sounds like a wonderful trip! I am interested as to which party you like the best. I have only been to MNSSHP, and I loved it!

What a fun time to go! You see the parks decked out for Halloween, then mostly Christmas by the time you leave. And two holiday parties too!

Ours is the second party tonight, last night was the first - whether it's crowded or not we will still make the best of it! I'd never been to wdw at Halloween or Christmas before so I picked these two weeks to get a taste of both. So far from just seeing the decorations in MK, Christmas is my favourite! So beautiful.
