During check-in today, it took a long time (longer than usual). She kept on saying the computer system was running slow. They were having all sorts of problems. After getting assigned the 1200 loop and setting up, I headed to Crockets Tavern to test out my magic band. It didn't work, so I went to guest relations. After 15 minutes, they gave up, showing me their error screens and saying it was slow all day. I headed to the Magic Kingdom and was able to update my annual pass, but at guest relations they still had no luck in their system with my magic band and charging. I went to Wilderness Lodge on my way back to the Fort. There at Guest Relations, was another story of slow computers, but he said it looked like everybody in my party had charging privates, so I went to check out the new outdoor bar and grill (really neat). The bar keep said my magic band had no charging rights, I went back to guest relations, he said it went down around 7:30 this morning, maybe try tomorrow. It is suppose to be the whole reservations system. Remember about a year ago they fired all their IT people and outsourced to a company that brought in oversea workers. Either it is the usual poor Disney IT or they were all deported. But it was below freezing in northern Illinois so life is still good.
