So we left Halifax at 6 in the morning and arrived in Orlando at 11:10. I'm traveling with my 2 girls (12 and 10 ) and my mother. We booked Tony Hynes for transportation. He sent someone else to pick us up. Nice gentleman and nice Suburban, leather seats, plenty of room. Stopped to get groceries. We then went straight to RPR.

Our room wasn't ready so the concierge took all our stuff and put all our perishables in their fridge, and we noticed they even put the beer!

We got our EP and left. We walked the path! Beautiful. This is my first time in Florida in August. I don't think I've ever experienced such humidity! And these weird little downpours and then beautiful sun again.

We went to Island of Adventure. We did Spider-Man, Kong, Forbiden journey, rides at Seuss and Hulk. Interestingly, Forbidden Journey was a 15 min. wait at 3 in the afternoon!!! Kong was 90 min. but with EP the wait was minimal.

We ate lunch at 3 broom sticks. Bought the buy 1 get 1 half price deal. The TM said we didn't have to use them all in one day. I still have 2 drinks left on them so I will report back.

We went back to hotel and straight to the pool after our stuff was delivered.

FYI, we asked for plates, bowls and cutlery and they brought everything up for 4 minutes including cloth napkins.

We asked for a room near the pool. We got it. It's very convenient to go back and forth if we forget anything. We are on the first floor and we like that we don't have to bother with elevators.

Since we did FJ yesterday afternoon with no wait, we are taking our time this morning and not bothering with EE at IOA and we'll go to US for opening at go straight to Gringotts.

Life is beautiful.

we're here too, also having a great time. I was surprised to see the express line available for kong so soon after it opened. we tried the chocolate emporium and had a great meal and some of the best service we've had anywhere, definitely worth the hassle and wait! We took the bus to citywalk sat bc we weren't sure if the boat would be running and were impressed with the security setup, they actually xray the bags which was way more efficient than the manual bag search. Hope the rest of your trip goes well and fingers crossed that the tropical storm goes west!

Thanks so much for this! I've been anxious to know this info. Let us know if you're able to use the drinks the next day- that way I can just buy all our dining in one day at the hotel on arrival and be done with it.

So glad you're enjoying yourself. I can't wait to hear your impressions- particularly if this is your first time at Uni (or first time staying on-site). Have a blast, universal Orlando is my favorite place on the planet.

Oooh that is great to hear about Toothsome as we've had reports that it had the worst service! Hopefully they are getting their act together!!!

Glad to see you made it in fine and are having a good time! (I believe you had weather concerns, as did I) We are getting on the plane in a couple hours to head down ourselves. We will be at PBH until Saturday. I'm super excited to hear about those short wait times!

Yes it's only for APH but interestingly they didn't ask me for my AP. You can buy these everywhere, including at the restaurants. We bought ours at the Three Broomsticks . I believe it's valid until end of September.

Thanks so much for the update on the AP meal deal. Being able to use the other credit on another day is helpful for me as I usually just split a meal with my niece.
