It was Dapper Day at Epcot and also, more and more Cheerleaders are "releasing" into the Parks as their Competitions end.
Our experience today was not a positive one with a group of cheerleaders, who literally pushed thru the line, were screaming and then jumped over the rope towards their friends ahead( who were about to board the ride) a CM ran after them, then literally stopped and did absolutely nothing! A group of people behind and ahead of us were all dumbfounded. As we got closer, a Manager
Was standing there ( unknown if he walked up afterwards). We approached him to ask why nothing was done and he acknowledged the behaviors are not acceptable yet did nothing either. Mind you, their boat had not yet left and they started a loud silly chant then quieted down ( not known why).
Regardless, it was more than just annoying, it truly affected our visit.
My dh has several hearing issues and one of the girls literally screamed right next to his ear as she plowed thru. He blanched, and as a result his “screaching ear” throbbed and he wound up with pain so severe that he said it felt like that brain freeze you get.
We had to leave the park and came back to the room/resort.
Such a shame, I gave away our passholder bands for the concert tonight..

anyway .. as we exited I approached a CM who gave me the name of the MGR at the ride and I do intend to drop a note.
I certainly realize that they cannot choose their guests .. but they should not be condoning screaming, line cutting, rope jumping and disruption, ( by allowing them to ride) never mind injurying someone, and she did.
Besides that, our day was actually quite lovely. Beautiful flowers, amazing topiaries, yummy food kiosks, lines were not long and
It’s such a fun park.
A forced quiet nite back at the resort... hoping tomorrow will bring further relief of the symptoms..
