Me(25) and my DBF(25)are going in September and we were lucky enough to get free dining! We have gone to disney twice before 2005 and 07 but we have never really done a table service meal.

So i have been planning what we will do as DBF thinks planning this far ahead is crazy. He just doesn't understand! We are staying at the AKL for 14 nights on the basic plan.

Here are my possible choices

Definately

CRT dinner- I have to try it at least once!

CP breakfast before rope drop

Tusker House breakfast- we love donald

Le Cellier(dinner or lunch???)got to see what everyone talks about

Beaches and Cream- I know everyone thinks this a waste of a TS credit but I am determined to get my hands on a No Way Jose

Raglan Road- dinner- got to try that dessert with the vanilla sauce!

Planet Hollywood- its a tradition

Maybe's

Teppan Edo
Mama Melrose
Sci Fi
50's Prime Time - not sure whether we will like the antics
Whispering Canyon- same as above
Yak and Yeti
Boma- DBF doesn't like cinnamon so a bit worried he won't like it
Chef Mickey's- not sure if DBF is up for a 4th character meal
Cape May- not sure if DBF is up for a 5th character meal:rolleyes1
Kona- dinner
ESPN

we arn't really fussy fancy eaters so the signature restaurants arn't really for us. Plus we are theme park junkies and will happily spend all day long at the parks and so we will never be suitably dressed!

Are there any in this list i should avoid like the plague? or any in my maybe's that we should definitely do?

I think your selections are great!!!

You might also consider:
Crystal Palace for yet another character meal with Eeyore and friends.
Grand Floridian Cafe for a burger.
Trails End buffet. (Authentic county gibberish spoken there and it's a cool boat ride.)
T-Rex - Haven't been there yet, but I plan to go in a couple of weeks. I'm sure the food is bad, BUT THEY HAVE DINOSAURS!!!!!!!!
Biergardens - Bad food, big beers.
San Angel - Pretty good food. It's Mexican, not Tex-Mex. Cool setting.

Must do:
Sci Fi dinner. (Don't expect great food, but you will love the setting.)

Don't worry about Whispering Canyon and 50's PrimeTime. You're young, you're theme park junkies, you'll have a good time!

BTW: Don't except a 'proper 20oz pint' at Ragland Road, for that your have to go to the Rose and Crown!

Avoid like the plague:
Tony's @ MK
ABC Commissary@ DHS

Hope this helps out.

Have fun!!!!!!

I think your choices look good :thumbsup2

Just wanted to mention that Cape May Cafe is only a character meal for the breakfast buffet. At dinner it's a New England Style Clambake buffet, no characters (we really like both meals there) :goodvibes

As long as you'll be on the DDP, might as well get LeCellier for dinner (if paying OOP, lunch is a little cheaper)

Without having kids with you, I'd probably skip WCC & 50's PTC --not that it's not fun for adults, but I think it's more fun when you have kids or a large group.

Sci-Fi is fun, the food isn't gourmet by any means but we've always had good meals there :thumbsup2 and it's a different experience than you'll find at most restaurants :goodvibes

Here are my possible choices

Mama Melrose do every year for Fantasmic Package
Sci Fi haven't done in years--but enjoyed when we did
50's Prime Time - not sure whether we will like the antics same as above
Whispering Canyon- same as aboveoverrated food--DH got sick on the skillet--and we were put in a back room and saw none of the antics everyone talks about (nor did we hear much in the main dining room going on)
Yak and Yeti fell in love with this during our trip this past September--a new must do
Boma- DBF doesn't like cinnamon so a bit worried he won't like ithad ressies and cancelled them in September; we're trying breakfast instead of dinner as it gets better reviews
Chef Mickey's- not sure if DBF is up for a 4th character meal fun...but we prefer CP and Cape May
Cape May- not sure if DBF is up for a 5th character meal:rolleyes1 We tried this for the first time (Donald Duck is now here) and really enjoyed
