Here is an Unusual Ticket Question...

Let's say that I go to Disney with my family for 3 or 4 nights, but we only need one day passes in our package.

If I get the Epcot/HS/AK passes in the package, and then 1 or 2 of us decide to hit the MK instead, can we still upgrade the pass when down there and pay the slight difference?

And for the new My Disney Experience Fast Pass Plus selection, will that system recognize the tickets as the Epcot/HS/AK passes and only permit selections from one of those parks?

Yes, once you are there you can upgrade individual tickets. You would only be able to make FP+ reservations (from home) for the one day ticket though.

On your other question, I didn't think tickets in a Disney package would be designated as MK or "other". I think they are interchangeable even on a one day ticket. I think the higher price for tickets for MK is only when buying a 1 day ticket at the gate. I would like to see someone confirm or deny that though, I haven't seen that situation or question come up on the boards since they raised the MK one day ticket price.

I can answer this one

I have 1 day Epcot/HS/AK tickets, but I reserved my 3 FP's in MK without any problems.

(We are starting our day at HS, but will hop to MK in the afternoon. I bought the kind of ticket I need for my first park. I will add the PH when we actually hop, just in case we change our minds, or the weather is horrible).

I thought you had to buy at least a 2-Day ticket to add PH?

Nope. Works with a 1 day. It's only 39$ extra instead of $59$. A little less if you started with a MK ticket. Works out to 137$.

You can buy it on the disney site, under tickets.
