Check this out go to http://maps.google.com and put 9150 Charles Rowland Dr, Port Canaveral, FL 32920 in the Address bar, Click on the Satellite Button and zoom in all the way ;)

I found google maps a while back and will be using it in the future for directions over mapquest (but I'll do both to make sure that google "works"). Google labs has a lot of nifty tools that aren't ready for prime time yet, but are getting closer.

:confused3 It's just a little dot on that road... I may be blonde... What am I looking at?

I can not make it do anything. When I click SATELLITE I just get a balloon with the address in it and a blank page with Cross Lines?? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Definately neat! Don't forget to click on satellite and zoom in to those of you having problems!

OOOOO!!!! :rotfl: Thanks pppiglet ... I really am blonde  :rotfl:

That is awesome! I changed the address to my house and checked it out as well. I could play on that all day!

This new Google feaure was in the news earlier today. Apparently so many people are hitting the web site looking at the satellite images that (for me) none of the satellite images are comming up right now (even though they did when I first checked the site this morning when I first read the news story).

Do both of the terminals on the bottom of the spit (the horizontal part of the "L" and the vertical part of the "L") share the same address? The latter one is DCL, right?

If you zoom out a bit DCL is the middle ship (the one with the small pool all the way forward.

too cool, i see it now!! but it isnt live is it? i noticed my neighborhood was missing some houses.

tell everyone they need to click the word satellite in the upper right hand corner!!!

thank!

You can also see Castaway Cay: The easiest way is to type in "Miami, FL" at the top, zoom out, then pan east until you center Abaco island (shaped like a backward C), switch to satellite, then zoom in. Looks like there's a ship docked there, although the resolution isn't that great.

how cool is that?!!!! wowies! i love it. i am taking a screen cap of it!

You beat me to it. My husband and I were checking this out last night.
