DW is at a girl's weekend. It's the first time we've slept apart in years. I hate the idea of laying down without her so I am surfing instead. I have to get up with the kids so I s'pose I should be going to sleep at some point. But instead I read the dis some more...

I sleep alone every night so you get used to it. I am sure it is hard for you when you had a partner in bed at night all along. She'll be home before you know it, hope you got some sleep

It is so sweet that you miss her that way! I felt that way the first time DH had to go on a long business trip, but I've gotten used to it. My friend still can't sleep when her DH is away unless she drags one of her kids into bed with her.

We have been married for 34 years, and I still have trouble sleeping when DH is out of town. He will be gone all week! UGH! We leave for a road trip with a 24 hour drive right after he gets home, so I will NOT be ready for that!

I can't sleep if my Dh is in the Den !! When I am ready to go to sleep I will call him upstairs to bed and the sweet man that he is will come so I can sleep. So I know exactly what your talking about but she needs her time and will be home to you soon. It is sweet that you miss her.I would love to be able to have a girls weekend!!!!!!!! I need some time to myself no kids, come to think of it!!!!
