So we got here yesterday, and I'm never leaving!
Some pre-trip info - DH and I left home Thursday morning at 6am to drive to Bristol, TN for Nascar weekend. We both had bad coughs and sore throats, and were able to get some antibiotics from the dr. before leaving. DH got better and I got worse. Soooo, spent Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday suffering in a tent in the Tennessee mountains.
I was able to crawl out of the tent on Sunday to sit and get sunstroke at the Bristol race track and try not to throw up while DH enjoyed the race and I prayed for it to be over! (And I usually love a good race!). Back to the tent to die at 6pm, managed to pack everything and sleep from 8pm to midnight. Then up we got, down came the tent, and off to WDW we went
(me still feeling like something you rub off the bottom of your shoe!). By 1pm we were at SSR, checking into our beautiful studio here on the 4th floor of the Springs looking over the fountain. (Insert deep contented sigh here!). Even though I felt horrible, I'm at WDW - best medicine ever!

). Back to my studio to relax with a cup of tea and my book while listening to Radio Disney on the tv for an hour. DH came back for lunch, which we enjoyed on the patio (leftovers from Earl of Sandwich last night). Then he went over to the Carousel pool while I watched my soap opera (All My Children) and finished my book. I was going to check out the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot, but still not feeling 100%, and quite happy to relax here.
. One of our favorite things to do is sit outside (no matter how hot), enjoy the view and relax with a beverage.
