Here at OKW and in love with it!

Wow....super laid back and just lush and beautiful. Had a minor glitch with our ressie, but Mngr Pat took care of it immediately. We are in Turtle Pond. The kids love the pool and HH area. Already made a few stops at The Gurgling Suitcase. Cool bartender from NJ-forgot his name. Having another resort only day(Went to HOB at DD last night) and watching Beauty and the beast at the pool tonight. The newly renovated 1 bd is huge and furnished very pretty. The view we have is of the pond and part of the golf course. DD slept like rocks on the pull out memory foam chair and sofa. Very comfy. The linens are very nice and soft. Olivias for dinner tonight . The menu looks wonderful! Have a great day everyone!! Any questions??

No, no questions, just envy that you're at my favorite resort!

We just returned ourselves from OKW June 10th. We were also on Turtle Pond, GV Bldg #43 and 2br #38 and studio #32. We had a fantastic time!

When we ate at Olivia's in early June, they had the buttermilk fried chicken back on the menu - it was fabulous! Enjoy!

I've heard about it, never had it, always hoped tom and now you tell me that when we were there in June I could have! Drats! It was a graduation trip for (6) 14 year old boys and they voted for Giordanos instead of Olivia's! Well maybe next time!

Thanks for this timely post. I was just sitting here trying to decide if I wanted to keep my OKW ressie for early November or take the AKV standard view that is available, which wold probably give me a parking lot view. I think I would rather stay at my beloved OKW with the full-sized washing machine than way out at AKV. I can always drive over to Boma for dinner that I cannot do without.

Soo excited we will be there in early Nov for the first time. Is that area a nice one to request with two young children. I really had no idea where to request. We will only be in a studio but our kids are still young so it will be fine. Can't wait to go now.

Pat and Carlos helped us find our Table in Wonderland Card when we left it at Liberty Tree Tavern after we ate lunch on our first full day at OKW. We really needed it the next morning because we had 11 for breakfast at Chef Mickey's.

There are some really fine people working at OKW.

Glad you are enjoying your trip. We will be arriving Sunday morning for our first OKW stay. I have heard many great things about the resort and am very excited to stay there. You said the linens were soft? After our last experience at AKL-Jambo with stiff, uncomfortable sheets I had planned to bring my own but if OKW's linens are soft, maybe I will not need to take up the suitcase space.
