Okay. We have picked out our restaurants and made our ADRs. Will you tell me your favorite menu item to eat a that restaurant?

May 11th - Arrive at FW. Go to MK. Lunch at Pecos Bills or Columbia Harbour House.
Dinner at O'hana.

May 12th - Breakfast at the cabin then Epcot. For lunch we snack around the world. We try to get one item from counter service or kiosk to share from each land. Someone already told me to try the School Bread in Norway. Please name your favorite counter or kiosk food from anywhere in WS.
Dinner back at the cabin.

May 13th - Breakfast w/Mary Poppins.
MK round 2. Lunch at Cosmic Ray's or Pinocchio Village Haus
Afternoon Tea at Grand Floridian
Dinner back at the cabin.

May 14th - Breakfast at the cabin then MGM.
Lunch at SciFi.
Dinner at Boma at AKL

May 15th - Breakfast at Chef Mickey's then AK.
Lunch at Flame Tree BBQ
Done for this year :sad1: Going to Grandma's.

We almost always get the combo plate in Mexico. I know there have been some negatives here on the Boards, but we have always enjoyed it.

And the cheese plate in France!! Those are our two favorite CS meals to share.

And we can't seem to walk by Germany without stopping for a Brat!

Never ate at Pecos Bills

Columbia Harbour House - Tuna Sandwich with Veggie Chili

O'hana - enjoy - no favorites here, try it all it's family style

Tangerine - get the platter, it's FANTASTIC!

Germany - Bratwurst

Mexico - beware of the beans! I got nachos here, ordered with no beans. Was told that beans were on the side. Got nachos, walked away and it turns out that the beans were on the TOP side. Everything was drowning in beans! UGH

Chicken Tacos were very good in Mexico and here the beans were really on the side (and by now I had learned and checked my order before I leave the line)

Pretzel from outside of America

May 13th - Breakfast w/Mary Poppins.
MK round 2. Lunch at Cosmic Ray's or Pinocchio Village Haus
Afternoon Tea at Grand Floridian
Dinner back at the cabin.

Mary Poppins - Buffet - have fun and enjoy

Cosmic Ray's - eh, it's Ok. Rotisserie chicken wasn't horrible, just a little tough and not very flavorful. I'd skip it.

Pinocchio's Village Haus - Cheesesteak sandwich and Figaro Fries, enough to split between two

May 14th - Breakfast at the cabin then MGM.
Lunch at SciFi.
Dinner at Boma at AKL

Can't help with SciFi, I haven't heard much positive feedback so we stayed away in April and October
Boma - very nice buffet.

May 15th - Breakfast at Chef Mickey's then AK.
Lunch at Flame Tree BBQ
Done for this year :sad1: Going to Grandma's.

Chef Mickey's - Buffet
Flame Tree BBQ - Unfortunately we didn't eat here, it would have been MUCH better than the lunch that we had

CHH: my favorite is the Lighthouse sandwich--the one with the hummus. YUM!:lovestruc

CRay's: I usually end up with a cheeseburger, but my sister usually gets the ribs or chicken. everything is pretty good. popcorn::

I love going to Chef Mickey's for breakfast and we're going to SciFi on our next trip, I don't think I've been there since high school! :upsidedow

Enjoy!:goodvibes

I, also, highly recommend Tangerine Cafe in Epcot. I learned about it on here and probably never would have stopped in on my own. The lamb platter was so delicious that I ate there twice. The bakery in France is wonderful for desserts.

Columbia Harbour House -- clam chowder soup and sandwich

We like the fish and chips in England at the counter

Pinocchio Village Haus (we don't like Cosmic Ray's) -- turkey panini was very tasty

MGM -- haven't been to SciFi in years and have never eaten at Boma

Chef Mickeys -- all the food was average for a buffet
Flame Tree BBQ -- I loved the pulled pork sandwich and the beans; my husband had the ribs and said they were very good

Anyone else have favs?

For the buffets, please tell me if there is something I just gotta try.

:dance3:

Columbia Harbour House has a wonderful ham sandwich, and is my choice of counter service at MK for the casual, relaxed seating in the upstairs area.

For lunching around WS, my favorite stop is Cantina de San Angel in Mexico. The combination plate is wonderful, as is the child's plate (which is more than enough food for 1 adult). Also love the bratwurst in Germany.

We had a great BBQ chicken sandwich at Sci-Fi last summer, but I believe they took it off the menu. If so, the burgers with cheddar cheese are very good there also.

I have never been to Boma, but have sampled the fabulous Zebra Domes and Paw Print Brownies at Mara and both are awesome dessert choices!

At Chef Mickey's make sure to try the french toast...it is wonderful! And if they have blueberry muffins or blueberry bread on the buffet, try it. Disney is the best at these!

Flame Tree BBQ is my absolute favorite counter service location in all of WDW. Anything there is a great choice, but my favorite is the pulled pork sandwich, followed closely by the beef sandwich.

Columbia Harbour: Clam Chowder in Bread Bowl...yum!

Chef Mickey's: I love the desserts! :thumbsup2

I really like the vegetarian wrap at Cosmic Rays. My mother has had the chicken wrap and said it was very good. The wraps are big, and you could probably split them. My mother had the half chicken once and said it was very greasey and not flavorful.

As for snackin' around the world, you can get a huge portion of Hummus at the Morroco CS (I think it's 1-1.50) and for an additional 1.00 you can get a big warm round of pita bread. This will be too much for just one person....IMO it's the best value on Disney property!

When you eat at Pinocchio's, you should really try the Figaro fries. They are awesome. Also, Pecos Bill's has a great chocolate - peanut butter brownie dessert, and Flame Tree BBQ has wonderful onion rings.

I can't really recommend anything from any of you TS meals, but Boma is wonderful, and be sure to try the fufu, (a.k.a. sweet potatoes,) prime rib, and any soups they are serving.

Pecos Bill we usually get a double cheeseburger and share it cos they are so big. I love loading mine with mushrooms, DH goes for the tomatoes.

Epcot - I love the orange chicken rice bowl from Lotus Cafe and anything from the bakery at Norway, school bread is one for me this year, never got round to trying it yet! Don't bother with the fish n chips in UK they are gross, if I sent you some now they'd still taste better after 3 days in the mail!

Burgers @ scifi are good, the onion ring appetiser is good if you bother with one at lunch.

Never eaten at the other places on your list, we have done Boma for bfast which was great. Their own juice is gorgeous. We are back in august and I'll be looking for ideas for our ADR's soon.
