Does any know if they are going to have a herbie attraction at one of the parks? A friend of mine, said she heard about it, and her son loves herbie. they are staying at ASM because of it.

I've heard about Disney putting this attraction in MGM sometime this year. You ride in Herbie through the streets of NYC until you get out in the Meatpacking district. You get out and hit Pastis for dinner, then head over to Soho House for cocktails, followed by dancing and more drinks at Butter, APT, and Level V. You head out into the night at 4 am and your manager scrapes you off the street and takes you back to the Hudson Hotel, where you spend the night. They're calling it Herbie: Fully loaded with Linsay Lohan.

In some of the pictures that someone posted of the LMA stunt show, it looks like Herbie is part of the show. I haven't heard anything else, but ya never know. I think it would be cool for us older folk. When we went to WDW two years ago for our first trip, we stayed in the Herbie section of the ASMo and my kids had no clue what Herbie was.

That's true! And my girls are big Lindsey Lohan fans, so I'm sure they will want to see it. I haven't heard much about the movie though. Is it going to be a new movie or a remake???

It's been so long since I've seen any of the old Herbie movies I don't know. LOL We saw the trailor for the new one when we went to see Robots last weekend and that was the first I knew there was a new one coming out. All I know from that is someone evidently finds Herbie in a junk yard and fixes him up and ends up racing him. There are cameos by several NASCAR drivers although Jeff Gordon is the only one I can think of at the moment.

it looks to be a 'new' movie. but still with the same premise of the old one. and yes, Herbie is rumored to be appearing in the new stunt show at the studios. I am a HUGE Herbie fan and grew up on the movies since my dad owned (still does actually) a 1973 Beetle that I named Herbie. And when I turned 18, I got a 1973 Bug of my own. I can't wait for the new movie to come out!!!
