Herbie DVD with code - any luck??

Hi! Today is the day the Herbie DVD is released, but I haven't had any luck finding the code. I have been calling many video stores this morning, all say there is no code inside the package. Blockbuster's copies actually had 2 promotions inside - Sprite and Sheraton - but no VMK.....

Anyone have any luck today?? I'm wondering if I should bother with making any more phone calls this morning or if I should just call it quits....

Hi! I wanted you to know that when I checked with my video store on Saturday they showed me the video and the rentals come in a different type of package then the ones you can buy. The rentals did not have the code in them but the ones they will be selling do have the code in them. She was going to give me all the codes from the rentals too! But the rentals did not have a code...rats.. I was going to share them with all of you wonderful dis members...

I guess we will go have to buy the dumb video just to get the code! I hope that the sale of these videos does not unleash a whole bunch of new people getting on vmk. The game lines are long enough and I do not think the vmk game servers can handle a million new players!

I went by our small AAFES (Army/AirForce exchange) video rental, and they have the codes inside the rentals. I rented one for the code, and she took a code out of another and gave it to me. So I could have a code for each kid. She told me that I could come back in a few days and she would give me the code out of each movie, but she had to give others a chance to rent the movie and get it first. So for now I have no extra codes, but hopefully soon I will. (already have a list of people to give them to.)

what is the code on? a piece of paper inside? a card inside?

it's on a piece of paper about 3X5 that has an as for Sky High on DVD on one side and the other (the code side) had red and blue stripes down it, and in a large circle says "Play Free, Get Stuff" and in small print below that is the code. On the bottom right side is the VMK logo.

Is there any external markings showing that there is a code enclosed? Would be bad to get the movie and have no code... bad bad

I rented one for 4.95 at a small video store near us (I've never been into before because we use Netflix online). There was no paper inside, so I asked the owner and he had thrown it away this morning. He found it and gave it to me (with a "your crazy lady" look on his face!) I asked if he got mutliple copies and he said no, only one (small store like I said). Just think of all those Herbie suits in the trash cans....boo hoo!
Thats one herbie suit down....more to go!

There is a sticker on the outside of the package that indicates there is a VMK code inside.

i got one but didnt open it yet, out local blockbuster didnt have them in the boxes

I went to our local Movie Gallery this morning. They had at least 30 dvd cases on the shelf. The girl looked through them for me and none had the offers in them. She said alot of video stores do not get the special offers in their dvds. Oh well! I went to Dillons and bought the dvd for $10 (had some rewards money that I used towards it).
