Henna Tattoo

We are on the 4 day Wonder Cruise. Anyplace on board to get a henna tattoo? Any place at Castaway Cay or Nassau?

not on the Wonder, but you may have more luck if you are traveling on your cruise to Mexico.

Be careful though....we had a boy come into our pharmacy who had a terrible reaction to his henna tatoo. He got his in Mexico and some of their dyes cause awful skin reactions. His was extremely swollen, blistered and he needed antibiotics when he arrived back to the states...it completely ruined the rest of his cruise..

If your'e combining with a trip to WDW they have henna tattoos in EPCOT at the Morrocco Pavilion.

Unless it is new, there were no Henna Tattoos on board the Magic on our 7-day Western or on the Wonder when we did a Land & Sea.

In fact, I don't remember seeing any opportunity for a Henna Tattoo in the ports when we did the Western in 2006.

Possibly things have changed...

Henna Tats? Henna tats are for girls. Did I just type that out loud? OK, ladies, light me up... All kinding aside,be brave and get a real one, they only last FOREVER! Check out my siggie, I know from experience.

I don't know of any place on DCL, but if you have a chance to go to Disney's Hollywood Studios, there is a place in front of the Rocking Rollacoaster that does them....

I got a Henna tattoo on the Western cruise in Key West - my next one was in Morocco in Epcot - very pleased with both. Cannot remember seeing any place to get them in Nassua but I wasnt looking.

The questionable henna is called "black henna" - it causes major medical reactions that are often featured on Dateline and the like.

If it's brown and smells earthy/good - it's brown henna, which is all natural and perfectly safe

The girls are planning to spend their souvenir money at Morocco to get henna "tattoos."

Tattoo is a bit of a misnomer. Henna is a dye applied in a thick paste to the skin, typically to the hands and feet of brides for wedding days or other ceremonies.

It can last as long as two months after drying and flaking off, leaving pigment on the skin.

Thank you...I will take that as a compliment. Each one represents each of my 3 kids. Mickey and Minnie has my wedding ann. date, when you get my age it's better to "write it down"It has gotten me out of trouble more than once....

KBORN!!!! I have one too!!! I thought I was the only nut to do this!

I love my tattoo of DCL! The Captain asked my where I got my "rub on tattoo" when I was on the cruise last time. ROFL. I told him its REAL and doesnt come off.
DH Has an Ariel Tattoo on his leg as well. HE LOVES HER. LOL.
