Hi all,

There's been a lot of 'who to travel with' style posts lately, including my own

Let's make life easier for those in search of answers - If you've had a good experience using a particular flight / travel / rental company, please post your experiences here!!!!

Cheers!

We travelled with TCD in August 2004 and were caught in the midst of hurricane Charley. The following day we were due to travel home but were turned away from the airport by police. TCD were fantastic and arranged hotel accomodation for two nights including food at no cost to ourselves. Not only did they do this for passengers who had booked accomodation with them but also for people who had simply booked flydrives and arranged their own villa/townhouse/hotel.

I know they get a caning from others who say that TCD are fine until things go wrong. Well, things couldn't have gone anymore wrong and they pulled out all the stops. I would never hesitate in recommending them.

We flew with USairways last year and the service we got from them was incredible.
DH has very severe arthritis and an extreme curvature of the spine. We always request the medical seats when we book - hoping to get the bulkhead seats - otherwise if someone in front of him reclines their seat - he`s trapped!
Anyways the check in staff on both legs of the journey really went out of their way to ensure he had a comfortable trip. Making phone calls etc - really going that extra mile for him. I was very very touched and I did email them and thank them :goodvibes

We travelled with First Choice in Dec, and would recommend it again we travelled in the Star Class Premium, and throughly enjoyed the experience.

We've travelled with Travel City Direct for the last 4 trips (with two more booked with them), we have had a great time with them, and I can definatly say their sunshine first cabin is very much worth it.

No problems, and very quick with the luggage etc

Due to the good reviews MapleLeafTickets get on these boards I thought I'd give them a whirl.

Not only did they match the best price I could find for all tickets but to allow me to purchase all the tickets I wanted together they even supplied me with tickets that they dont normally sell at the best price I could find them. I cant imagine any UK company doing this !!

When I asked them to call to order the tickets they phoned almost immediately - actual tickets were delivered in less than a week.

I have to say that I have been impressed by Ticketmania before but my hat goes off to Omar and his team at MapleLeafTickets - they are superb :thumbsup2

I have to give the big thumbs up :thumbsup2 to our local Thomas Cook travel agent. My first trip with them was in June 2002 and I have'nt looked back since. I'm good mates with girls at the shop now, and they always try to price match any offer I find. If they can't - then I usually get something offered for free instead.

I've had free seaworld/ universal tickets, quite big discounts on future trips, upgraded hotels, and free transfers (as I never drive in Orlando), nothing is never too much for them.

I'm quite lucky as a lady i work with use to work for a travel company, so I always check with her first to see that I'm getting the best deals available at a low cost.

We have used Kenwood Travel for our trip in August. To cut the cost we looked at indirect flights but Kenwood were able to offer Virgin flights/suite accommodation cheaper than the quote we got for going indirect. They were really helpful particulary as our booking was'nt straight forward
