A good friend is about to take off to WDW for a late April trip. She's never been so I'm spending tons of time helping her get ready - it's a blast for me - especially since she has a 5 year old girl who wants to meet characters and my kids don't do character lines. Plus they are 15 and 11 now. Woot! I get to plan for princess meetings!
Priorities are the Frozen princesses (I know...more on that in a second) and Mike and Sully. I find that a charming and interesting combo.
I've warned her mom that she should prepare her daughter for a 4-5 hour wait for Elsa and Anna (there are ways to try to make it shorter but from what I've read on these forums, you should prepare that it will be long and hope for shorter) and find out if that's something that's worth it to her daughter. I will try to gather all the Frozen advice I can. On one of their days, there's a 10:45 Akershus ressie they could get - so she'd meet princesses there and then if they want to wait in line for a few hours to see Anna and Elsa they could.
I've also pulled down the 2 day character-centric touring plans from Josh's EasyWDw (yea, Josh!) for her to show her daughter b/c that's a good way to meet some princesses.
Here's my big question - are Mike and Sully just at Hollywood Studios? And if so, what's the best way to figure out the best time to meet them. Will that be a long wait?
Thanks for helping me help out this little kiddo who's excited to be going to WDW for the first time!
