Helpful tips for a newbie!

We are going to Universal for the first time, and was wondering if anyone had an tips for us. It will be just the Hubby and I and we are mainly going for the Harry Potter land, but would like to see some other things as well. Any great places not to miss or places we should avoid? Thanks

If you enjoy the thrill rides, I would suggest using the single lines instead of buying the US version of Fastpass. Even though they say you may be separated from your party, we found that happened only about 5% of the time (we may not sit together, but would be in the same car). Same principle applies to any popular rides.

Most importantly, have fun!!

Take time out and enjoy all areas of IOA and US.

They are both fantastic places and the theming is not to be missed. Some of the best rides are to be had in these parks.

Also spend some time In Citywalk. Great atmosphere with fantastic restaurants. Margaritaville , Nascar, Hard Rock to name but a few.

It`s a fab place to be at night. I have never been in any of the clubs as our son is 16, but they have live bands play in the centre of Citywalk and it has always been a lot of fun listening to them.

You didn`t say if you were staying onsite. But even if you`re not......check out some of those restaurants. I know the RPR ones are all wonderful and have only heard good things about the other two hotels food.

Spider-Man is a must do IMO.

Finnagen's (sp?) inside USF or Mythos inside IOA are both fantastic restaurants and a great break from the Florida heat.
