A Florida friend who is cruising with us has decided to come up and spend the night before at Port Canaveral with us, so we now have a car and driver at our disposal. Latest conversation with the family is leaning heavily in favor of Zachary's right now (and why don't they have a web site???).\

I don't know why Zackary's doesn't have a website - I have asked Dina the same question, but never really got an answer - I like Zackary's because it is a family owned restaurant, Zack does do most of the cooking and most of all they have been there for years - I always have second thoughts about recommending a place simply b/c I have had some that were not thrilled with my suggestions - I also like Roberto's the cuban restaurant in Cocoa Beach as a family restaurant but these are really the only 2 I would go out on a limb to recommend - Roberto's also has American food for those that don't want to do the Cuban food - anyhow my phone is 321-799-4438 and cell is 321-508-2246 if you have any questions, concern or issues ok>

Don't know if anyone else posted this but the Marriott is now charging $5 a day cruise parking, apparently as of September this year.

Now, Is there anywhere on the island I can buy a crochet hook?

Every year seems like the ones that I know will be open, are shut down so what I will be doing sometime next week is calling EVERYBODY, ask them and if will be open or closed, I will posted all the information with names, addresses, phone numbers and times.

This is a promise I am making to everyone or you can throw cold snow at me

OH AND IF YOU GOING TO HERE THIS WEEKEND --AH PROTECT YOURSELF

COOL, COLD, COLDER the person you will may see at the port is a person that will be wrapped up like she is in Alaska or the South Pole

I just wanted to say thanks for suggesting Cazoni's pizza! It was delicious and all our guests loved it, especially those garlic knots!!! We will eat there again when we come back.

Also, your shop put together a great basket for my little god daughter. It made their cruise in the DreAm a little more special!

I see there are numerous services available, but am hoping to arrange transportation from the DCL Port to Church services in Port Canaveral, and then back to the DCL port - for just one person (in between back to back cruises). Reliability would be very important, as arriving in time for Church would be nice. I could also rent a car for the day, but I think a taxi -type service would be simpler. Ideas? Approximate costs?

I wanted to share some information that a lot of those going or have been to my home town of Key West OR if you are interested in Ghost stories, history or mysteries, tune in on the Travel Channel 56 at 9PM tomorrow night - you will find the stories so interesting - Bum Fardo disappeared off the face of the earth ( I knew him but then who didn't in Key West) - anyhow just for your info and hope you will enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't kept up with this thread since our last cruise but now I find myself needing your help again.

What's the current best deal available for hotel with cruise parking the night before our cruise? We stayed at Country Inn & Suites last time and it was great, but rate is $189 right now which is much higher than I remember last time. I could book a room only rate at about 1/2 that, but, if we did, does anyone know what they charge for parking if we don't book the package? I looked on their web site but couldn't find.
