Now, I was wondering if you could answer a question for me....

We willl be traveling on the 10/17 Western Magic Cruise. Long story short....I MAY need to get bloodwork done every other day while on the cruise (for a pregnancy.....if it turns out to be positive )!!! Anyway, I am stressing a bit because I do not do well with unfamiliar areas, and son't know how I will be able to get this done in Key West and other countries. Do you know if there is a lab/hospital/medical facility near the port that I can take a cab to once we dock on Sunday, 10/18 in Key West??? I KNOW this is a crazy question, but I am trying to be somewhat prepared in case I need to do this. (Don't know how I will do it for the rest of the cruise, since I just spoke to DCl and they do not have capabilities to draw bloodwork and send results to my Dr)....

Any information you may have will be most helpful !! If you don't know, that is ok too !!!!!!! Thanks for all you do for us !!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK being a Sunday, if it isn't a bar or restaurant, there are very few places opened BUT what I have done is made a copy of your note and put it out on the conch line and I should have an answer quickly on this - I know these old conchs will find the right solution for you so will post as soon as I have the answer.

I knew that once I posted your request on the conch grapevine that I would receive soooooooooooooooooo many request to help you. Now I have picked a special one since he worked with Norm at the post office and of course he is Norm's buddy.

Oh my Shirley,

I read the post about the train/trolley tour taht your friend Martha wrote.... and I got to thinking, WAIT !!! I have heard of that tour before ... so I checked my reservations on DCL website for the excursions I booked.... and I signed my family and I up for the Old Town Trolley/Conch Train Tour for Sun., 10/18 from 1 to 2:50 PM. WOW !!!!! That was before I realized I may need to travel the town looking to get bloodwork done , but we'll see how it goes !!!!!!

The owner is Javier and if you mention this board, you will get a sweet treat)

We just got off the Magic this weekend and found out that the Shipping Depot has moved (basically across the street, behind the Walgreen's). The new address is:
Shipping Depot 211 Crockett Blvd. Merritt Island, FL 32953
no change in phone/fax/email.

I wonder if you have an email contact for the Residence Inn Cape Canaveral. Post #1 says Pat Looney is the GM, I am guessing that is still correct?

I would like to make a reservation for April for the night before our cruise. I can make the reservation online. But first I want to check if DH is eligible for the Government/Military rate. He is a volunteer for air search and rescue in Canada and the provincial emergency program. Some hotels will make the Government/military rate available to him, others will not, so I like to check with the hotel first before I book. That saves us and the front desk clerk any embarrassment at check in.

I prefer to contact the hotel via email so I can email copies of his ID and information etc. I have googled but can only find an email for Marriott and they have not responded to the contact us I sent about 6 weeks ago, so I would like to email the hotel directly.

we are sailing on the 3 nt Wonder in December, and will have a large box of supplies from our VR to ship home. it looks like the Shipping Depot isn't open on Sundays. Is there a UPS Store or FedexKinkos location somewhere we can drop a box off between the port and MCO?
