Quick question.... I have a 6 layer crinoline to wear under my formal (yes, I'm going for the princess look). Is there a number I can call to find out exactly how much it will cost to have that pressed once aboard? And to find out how much to have my gown pressed? Thanks.

Thanks!!! That's so sweeet of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I mgiht end up taking an iron... but then again I never iron anything and if it's not tooo expensive, I might just have them do it. It'd be nice to know waht it costs and then I can determine if it's worth bringing the iron.

Thanks again for checking for me!!!! :yay: :worship:

I just found out, irons are NOT suppose to be taken on board - anyhow someone is checking with the ship as we speak - will let you know as soon as I find out something else.

Hey Shirley,

Have another question for you. You know there's been a lot of confusion lately about what we can or cannot bring/pack. My recent understanding is that we can bring alcohol onboard if we have it in a carryon. I got a couple of soft-sided rolling coolers and figured I'd use them as carryons (have to measure them as I heard somewhere they have to be 22x18x9 or something like that). But the same place where I got the measurements (one of the guys on my cruise's thread) also said that beverage coolers are not allowed. Does that mean these softsided coolers will not be allowed? I'm so confused!!!!! :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

The size of the carry on is the size equal to the airline requirements small carry on AND YES they are speaking about the softsided coolers. It MUST BE ABLE TO FIT THROUGH THE X-RAY MACHINE WITHOUT ANY SQUEEZING ETC.
Yes you can carry alcohol onboard if its in your carryon for DCL will NOT be responsible if anything breaks and something is ruined.
Hope that will help.

You know one of the places that I know and never have mentioned is Yogi's which is located right here at Cape Canaveral - I have know Yogi since about 1989 and one super duper person - the address is 6850 North Atlantic Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Fla and his phone number is 321-784-2035 - he is known by Captain also tell him that his buddy Shirley from TPG sent you - don't know if he will give a discount, but I do know his prices are a little lower than ABC - I am sure Yogi would be more than happy to help you.

Not to beat a dead horse, but just want to be sure I understand. No soft-sided coolers at all, even if they do fit through the x-ray machine without squeezing?

Thanks, I will call him and post how it goes. I knew you would be able to help, we are all so lucky to have you here.

I'm looking all over for pictures that were posted of the rolling cooler that could be brought on board. I think it was one from Sears?

Does anyone know which one I mean and would that one be ok?

Thanks!

I understand for the exalt dimensions, you will find it in your DCL sailing brochures. This information was given to me by DCL.
