Would you know of a company that would have a limo, not a van, that could take 6-8 people with luggage from WDW to the port, with RT service? Maybe a company that has Hummers or something of the sort. The one mentioned on the list has a limo for that manypeople but would not fit the bags. TIA

Have you spoke to Ron at Space Coast Shuttle? I know he shuttles a lot of folks and luggage around, but I don't know exalty what types of transportation he has to do so.

I wanted to give you an update on the new home of the Dinosaur Store that is being built right accross the street for where they are now on Highway520 in Cocoa Beach. This place is going to be BIG, HUGE AND with what looks like either a 2 or 3 story high store - its going to hold some HUGE STUFF. I really believe the kids and adults are going to love going in and seeing what they have to offer. Its about 3/4 built and as soon as it opens, will post so that you can plan to take the family there.

A few months ago I thought I read about a new restaurant that was going to built in front of either the Residence Inn, or Country Suites & Inn. Does anyone have any info on this? ...or was I mistaken.

There will be 19 of us going on this cruise. We will need 6 or seven hotel rooms for the night before and hopefully a hotel that will allow us to park our cars there and shuttle us to the ship with all our luggage. What do you suggest? We prefer a moderate to deluxe hotel. Please help. Your thread is awesome and I value your opinon.

Budget is on HWY 528 which is known by Astronaut Blvd and also an "extention" of North Atlantic Avenue WHICH ALL IN ALL IS A1A (all the darn names confuses everyone) but Budget is super easy to find - go pass Country Inn and Suites, Residence Inn, the Radisson and then start looking on the West side (also your right) and you will be right there before you know it - Budget does have a big sign you can't miss. You will be fine - honest - its just all the names that are used to describe one entry.

The "restaurant" became Hertz rental instead but there is still Zackery's that has great food.

If you want something close to the port, I would suggest either the Radisson, RI or CI&S - you may want to think about calling Ron at Cocoa Beach Shuttle
and asking for private shuttle to take you over to the ship especially since he gives his guest 10% off if you mention this board.

I really do not like to suggest one particular place because if it goes wrong, I would feel horrible - I do know most of the GM"s and know that they go to the inth degree to make sure the guest are happy with their place especially if they know you are on this board and could make unpleasant impressions.

BTW...do you still have the "fairy fountain" at your store? Last time DD wished for a guinea pig. The fairy fountain wish came true a few months later. "Cupcake" has been quite an addition to our family!

Yep still have the "wishing fairy fountain" and so glad Cupcake was the addition and not the elephant

Need to share something with you, Last year I had a MAW child come by with her parents and she stood in front of the of the fountain for quite sometime and then afterwards she wouldn't tell anyone what she wished for including me - a few months later, I had a letter from mom and her wish had come true - she had wished she never had to have chemo again - her test keep coming back negative so I guess its true keep wishing positive and positve will come true or wishes do come true.

Shirley, it gave me the cold chills reading about the MAW child.
We are planning a dis meet the night before our cruise in May. Being that it will be on a Friday night Grills doesn't take reservations. We figure we will have over 30 at the time of the meet. Do you know somewhere that might take reservations? Thanks!
