Helpful hints needed to get Cindy's Nov. 8

I was fortunate enough to secure a table for our family on Nov. 8. Our good friends were not as lucky, and I almost feel guilty. I've been trying several times a day to find them a Nov. 8 ressie, but no luck. Someone mentioned something about people who pay by check for the breakfast and if it doesn't clear by a certain time, the ressie is cancelled. I'm wondering how many days they allow for that. I remember that I should also call to see if anything opens up 48 hours prior, and I intend to do that. I was just wondering if any of you have had success before then and if you could share your story. Our friends have a little girl who loves the princesses so I'll keep trying until I run out of time.

Nickymouse: My sister and had been trying for 3 days to get Cindy's breakfast. Finally today I got them. The first 2 days we tried we both started calling at 6:58 and got in the queu (sp?) and by the time a CM picked up they were all gone. On the first day I used the clock on these boards, the second day I started calling when my home phone said 6:58. Today I started calling when my home clock was 6:50 a.m. and I kept hitting redial - I know that was a little silly but during one of the redials at about 6:56 a CM picked up right away. I was shocked and quickly told him what I wanted and I got it. We needed a table for 10 and he gave me 2 tables for 6 which is fine with me. I was off the phone by 7:00 a.m. with my reservation confirmed. So I don't know if there clock is off or what. But calling earlier than the 6:58 worked for me.

Keep calling, Keep calling!!

I was calling just once a day for a week and finally got a cancellation yesterday afternoon. The CM was as excited as I was! She said she never gets to book it after 7am!

I'm glad they take a deposit--I think that helps, people will be more apt to cancel if their plans change.

Maybe your friends could call as well--more tries at different times.
