Please help us. We were planning to take our 3 (almost 4) year old and 15 month old kids on a disney cruise- not only have we never been on a cruise...I'm wondering if our children are too small? Is it too much trouble at this age...because a lot of things I have been reading are giving me the impression that I may want to re-evaluate this just yet. Any tips??? :rotfl:

I can help with your older child, this is the exact age our DD was her first time, and she LOVED it... She will be 6 next month, and she still remembers just about every detail of her first time....WE have been twice since, and she is just itching to get back...

As for your younger one, I have heard great great reviews about Flounders..I have been inside with my cousin when she brought her daughter (nearly 2) and her daughter loved it there. They have so many playtoys, ranging from infant to older toddler...

The only downside when we cruised with them, is that at the mickey pool, the children who are not trained, must stay in the ear of the pool...SO her daughter pulled quite a few fits...This is a must regulation, I understand, and am completely in agreement with it..I just think that with two young ones, it may be difficult to have one in one area, and the other one unable...

But, it would not stop be, I would go with bells on if I were you.. :flower:

Took a 3 year, four year and 15 mos on our first cruise, a 7-day. The 3 and 4 yrs had a blast. Pretty sure the 15 mos had no recollection of the cruise which is why we booked another one a couple of years later, just for her. It wasn't too much trouble, just pace yourself and don't try to do too much.

Our kids were 3 & 5 on our first cruise. I don't think that they can be too young to enjoy the magic of Disney. :) We didn't plan on anything really, except being on the ship. There was no Palo that trip or any excursions. Only DS went to the club & loved it! We had alot of quality time together...which is why we are going on our third cruise this December.
