Ok since I haveb een at my boyfriend's house (december 30th), I have not been able to stop eating.
I just keep eating and eating and eating. And my stomach (aka the pouch) is getting bigger and bigger. It won't stop growing :( I keep hoping that the fact that....WARNING TMI COMING....I have only had two BM's since being here (yes that would be 20+ days and only 2) is why my pouch is getting bigger but I doubt that. I just tell myself that to make myself feel better about getting fat :(

I feel so AWFUL but i just cant stop eating!!

Help!! :( :( :( :( :(

Norah, try to make some healthy choices when you eat. Fruits and veggies can be quite yummy, you just have to be a bit creative. I am a sucker for a salad and have learned to really dress them up without a lot of calories...I add celery, eggs, nuts and all kinds of goofy veggies.....that also might help with the "other" problem. Fortunately for me, I don't have that problem so I can't help you there. Just wanted you to know that I am thinking about you and sending some :wizard: your way. Hope you feel better soon....Good to see you checking in!! Take care of you!!

Did you see my thread over on the CB about the being pregnant thing? No i am definitely not pregnant.
I do eat a lot of fiber since I have always had stomach problems.
I have cramps and stuff but nothing happens :(

When i snack, I am eating things like cereal (dry no milk..that upsets my tummy except for my Smart Start which I eat with milk..that has fiber in it out the wazoo), crackers, PICKLES (lots and lots of pickles), cheese, bologna

I mean I eat pretty healthy stuff...kinda.

My other thread on the CB is about being calle dpregnant when you are not.
Someone thought I was pregnant back in the fall because of my pouch.

I think I may call my doctor tomorrow about the bathroom problem.

I just have this huge fear of weighing a lot..not even being fat..just weighing in the 160s...150 is my scary number but i am far over 150 now. Hence the eating disorder and counseling..i freak out as soon as I hit 150 on the scale and binge and fast and so on..but the fasting aint happening.

Drink water, lots and lots and lots of water. This will make you pee every 20 min, but it does help with consitapation too. And it will keep you from eating too much.

Norah, I've gotta agree w/ DisneyPhD. If you're eating that much fiber and NOT drinking LOTS of water, the fiber will have a really hard time moving through your system. Drink up, girlfriend - but make sure it's H2O! :D I'd start with 60 - 80 oz per day but no more than about 100 oz per day.

Water has 2 benefits - it helps all that fiber move through AND if you're drinking that much water, you won't be able to eat as much. Sipping water can help with that craving for something in your mouth.

Keep us posted!

You need to get yourself to go to the bathroom. My friend's DH was having the same problem as you and ended up in the emergency room because he was "impacted." Get some stool softeners or a gentle laxative or something. It is important to get that stuff OUT OF THERE. Yes, that is why your abdomen is distended.

You also sound like you are "emotionally" eating. You've got to find something to do to get your mind off food. Can you do some exercise. Go out for a walk, do a tape?

Christine's post reminded me of a tactic that Dr. Phil talked about in his book. Do something "incompatible with eating". When I get really bad, I crochet. Ya just CAN'T eat and crochet at the same time. The same goes with exercise, like a long walk or working out at the gym (bet your school has one that you can use for free!). Take a shower - can't eat there! :teeth:

Another trick is to brush your teeth. There is NO food that tastes good after you've just brushed with "minty fresh" toothpaste! :p

Yeah I try to chew a lot of gum just so I am not shoving anything in my mouth.
I have been drinking a lot more water than normal lately.
I never have regular BM's but I have also never had my stomach get so big before.
