I read a few of the reports and one said that the teen club was a blow-out. I am 14 and was really looking forward to the fact that teens had their own club.... any other inputs on how the clubs were?

Well I really hated it but I think it's just because it's not my kind of thing. Most of the teens onboard and that I have spoken to on here love it.

Oh dear Crazy8, I hope that it wasn't my report that scared you. I guarantee no matter what you will have a great time on the cruise. Even though DS13 didn't love the clubs, he would still love to take another Disney cruise. I just went to get his Navigator and here is a list of some of the activities:

Sports Challenge
Gender Wars boys v. Girls
Glow Jam-volleyball under the lights (seems this is weather permitting)
Pajamarama Movie Night
Run, Swim, Paddle Competition
GOTCHA game (not sure what this is)
H2O Splashdown (water games)
Video Scavenger Jun
Mix N Match game
Teen Karaoke
Party in Paradise at Studio Sea

Unfortunately, my son did not participate in these things so I can't give you much info. Just go in with a positive attitude and give the activities a chance. I think my son was surprised to see so many older kids and then just got it stuck in his head that he didn't want to try anything else at Common Grounds. There are lots of other things to do on the ship beside CG, so I'm sure your biggest problem will be deciding what to do, again, you WILL have fun!!!!

DS also enjoyed the Wildside excursion on Castaway Cay. He did not try the teen junkanoo jam but that looks like fun too.

Everyone experiences things differently. Have a great vacation!

Our daughter was 13.5 when we cruised last Fall and she absolutely LOVED the Teen Club - we rarely saw her ;) And she's looking forward to it again this November.

My DS last year was 13.5 also. Absolutely had the time of his life! Loved it! It was no different from being at home. Knocks on the cabin door, phone calls for him....and him coming in for a quick shower and off again... this is me as he's going out the door...."Don't forget your key!"

I think they meet up at the teen spot and just venture out. I think at this age, getting to the 411 - the first day introduction meeting on the first night is very important.

{I've also had my DS11 come in as we are putting our DD5 to bed. He changed into his trunks to meet his group at the Mickey pool...then come back in to put dry clothes back on and go to the club!}

POST ITS! To let family know where everybody is!
