Help!

I am joining my parents on their stay at the Poly on 6/23. They will already have been there for 5 days and I am staying for the last 5 days. Since I am only going for 5 days, I can't be added to their reservation until I arrive and I have to buy my theme park tickets separately.

Disney is saying that i can't use Magical express (even though I'm not checking any luggage) because I do not technically have a resort reservation.

Do you think I could just show up and try to use the magical express service when I arrive at the airport, explaining my situation?

If not, what is the best (and cheapest) way to get to the poly from the airport?

Have your parents add you to the reservation after they check in. Once they have added you, contact ME and give them the reservation number and you will be able to book it. We have done this multiple times with zero issues.

But then won't they charge my parents extra for having 2 more adults in their room once we are added to the reservation, even if we are not actually staying yet?

No, when your parents arrive, they can tell the CMs what day you are arriving and how long you are staying. Then the charge will only be for those days.
