Hi guys and gals x
Myself, my GF and her 2 children are coming to DLP on Sunday and I need your help.
My GF is 12 weeks pregnant and is seriously craving slush puppies/slush drinks and I need to know if there's anywhere on Disney property that sell them?
Many thanks :-D

Congratulations! :goodvibes

I don't recall seeing anywhere in the parks selling them on this trip. On a previous trip they had a slushie machine in the bar area of the Santa Fe - but I'm not sure if that's still there.

I hope you have a lovely trip and make sure your GF gets a letter from the Drs to confirm the pregnancy so she can get the pregnancy pass from City Hall.

Pregnancy pass?? I've never heard of this before Haha. What's it for?

Many thanks :-D was a bit of a surprise but couldn't be happier.
Im trying to make sure she has an awesome trip even though she's limited to what rides she can go on. Most disappointed about POTC than any other I think.
Just gives a reason to return when baby has arrived :-D

The pregancy pass gives immediate access or a shorter queue to the more gentle rides and attractions that are considered suitable for pregnant women (and their family - generally one other adult and any children). It also allows them to sit in special areas in theatres (cinemagique, animagique etc..) and for watching parades and dreams. I believe you also get to avoid the queues at character meet & greets.

The below are the rides/attractions that are covered on this pass as these are the only ones deemed suitable for pregnant ladies:

DISNEYLAND PARK

Disney Railroad Train
Phantom Manor
Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing
Alice's Curious Labyrinth
Sir Lancelot's Carousel
Its A Small World
Le Pays De Contes De Fees ( Storybook boats )
Buzz Lightyears Laser Blaster
Les Mysteres Du Nautilus
Captain EO 3D cinema.

STUDIOS PARK

Animagique
Cinemagique
Art Of Disney Animation
Moteurs Action
Disney Junior Live on Stage
Stitch Live
Tram Tours

As she's only in the early stages, she might feel like she doesn't need the pass as she won't be experiencing the extreme tiredness you get until the latter stages - but it's nice to have the option!

They had slushies in the SF last month. A kids one was either €2.20 or €2.50. You were on the ball Helen :)

Congrats on your great news :)

I did Florida at 32 weeks pregnant and not once did I consider needing any help! pregnancy is not a disability. a pregnancy pass seems a complete joke to me! sorry to comment on the thread. any way congratulations to the both of you. and potc should be fine. I rode it several times at 30 to 33 weeks pregnant.

I do agree with you in a way about the pass but at the same time there are a lot of people who take advantage of a minor illness to get the same advantages as someone who truly deserves them.
Thank you and your one of many who've said POTC will be fine. She obviously wouldn't ride anything extreme.

I would have been one of those pregnant people that would've needed a pass as I was unable to walk from 22 weeks onwards due to complications. However, saying that it was that had so we decided not to go & to wait until I'd actually had the baby.

Lat week I was in Agrabah cafe & a very rude woman barged me out of the way & pushed in the queue (we'd been waiting for 10 mins for the food the be topped up). When I confronted her she just said that she was pregnant & didn't need to queue! The lady behind me was with 2 disabled children & was quick to point out that pregnancy is not a disability. This lady couldn't give a monkeys.
