Help!

We find ourselves with a little extra funds for our "first night" at WDW.. this is with just the hubby, myself and 3 of our kids. Its a resort only stay to relax and such before the craziness of the "real" trip begins. We are staying 10 nights at POFQ ( with my mom and my oldest also) but this one day is just us. With the discounts for summer we can def pick a deluxe. We are torn and would love input on any of the deluxes please!!

We've stayed at all but 3 of the deluxes and our favorite is the Poly, followed closely by WL and GF (although the WL wouldn't be doable unless you booked 2 rooms or the deluxe CL room). The Poly rooms are very large and spacious and we love the tropical atmosphere and the way the pool backs up to the beach with a view of the castle off in the distance . Captain Cooks is also a great place for quick snacks or meals and it's convenient being on the monorail for going to MK or the GF & CR for dining, shopping, etc. But with all of that said, you really can't go wrong with any of the deluxe resorts, IMO, as they are all great; although, the Poly/GF/CR have the largest regular rooms of the deluxes, which will give you a little more room with 5 people. My vote is for the YC of BC because of Stormalong Bay. Your kids should have a blast at the pool complex. Did you say how old your kids are?

7,8 and 10.. they are all leaning towards The Boardwalk.. I think that one is gonna win..

I'd pick Beach Club (one of my FAVE resorts) or Yacht Club. They have the BEST pool and would make a GREAT resort only day!

Animal Kingdom Lodge! But only if you can afford a savanna view.
