Ok, so after our moment of madness, booking a trip in 24 days:scared1:, help me with what I need to do!

Book flights - Booked
Travel insurance -Done
Car hire - booked, DH dared to do this withought my full authorisation :lmao:
Villa- booked and paid for.
Park tickets- To purchase, have i left this too late to do here?
Child carseats-To take ours or not? I read somewhere that you can't take yours because you wouldn't be insured in a crash over there with UK seats?
ESTAs -To do

So what else do I need to do? My head is all over the place!

How excitig id love to do a last minute trip!!!

My opinion for what its worth-

ESTA - Do this first as its the only thig left that you NEED to do before you can go !!

CAR SEATS - We always take our own ad I cant imagine that the hire companys would let you take them if it meat that you were not insured ??? For me its easier to take ours as I know how they work!! The car hie companys wont fit them for you as that make them liable in the event of an accident. I have NEVER been advisd that using our car seats would be a problem in an accident.

TICKETS - You have plety of time. Disney stores will issue you with the actual tickets plenty of others you prit off confirmation at home an then the will call window at any disney park will issue them.
When we bought tickets and have recieved actual tickets it ususally arrives within 7 days.

Take a minute and beathe - you have done the most important thigs once you have done your ESTA>

Take care x x x

you also need to do you API on the Virgin site.

Also what about spending money?
I know it doesnt take long but our local travel agent needs to order it in.

have fun making plans.
Im sure youll want to make a few ADR's. Ive been addicted to the ADR site at the moment as i can do mine soon.
Theres quite a few available for each day. I could have gone to CRT yesterday....If only i were there

Do your Esta as soon as you can - how did you get on with your DD's passport (saw your other thread)

Car seats - take your own. Never read it is a problem using uk seats - my understanding is EU regulations re cars seats are more stringent than US so a UK seat will meet all US regs. The seats I have seen at the car rental depot are awful - dirty, you don't know how to fit them or if they are in a crash. Alot of airlines carry the seat free.

Tickets - used undercover tourist in the past and tickets came very quickly from scotland - posted within a few days.

Additional things to do

Make any dining reservations or reservations for bibbidi bobbidi boutique etc

Have a look at touring plans busy day guide and make a plan

Coupons - sign up to the email club of all your favourite restaurants about a week before you fly you usually get a bogof coupon or free appetiser etc

Advance passenger information - you do it for all of you - there is a link on the virgin atlantic website. Think you need your passport number and esta number though. Doesn't take long to do.

ESTA ASAP. Most are accepted within seconds but you need to do now to make sure you have them with no problems.

I've never heard about the car seat thing either, we always take our own. The ones that I have seen for rental always look very grotty and never look very safe IMO and they charge you an arm and a leg to hire them too!
