I am planning a last minute trip with dd who will be 12 for early August. We have never been this time of year. We typically go mid to late October or late November to mid December.

We will be going for 4 or 5 days and other than that we are just starting to make plans.

I would appreciate ANY help or advice you can give me.

Thank you so much!!!

The two biggest differences will likely be the crowds and the heat. Best solution for both is to get the the park early, go back to your resort/hotel in the afternoon (when it gets hotter and the crowds get bigger) and then head back to the park later on since it will be open later than during slower times of the year.

Buy some of those misting fans, and put ice in the water bottle part if you can get some. (food court?)

We found it sweltering by 8:30 am in August, mainly because of the humidity! Indoor attractions where high on the list that time of year!

As mentioned ... early to the Park ....watch the heat.

When we were there in late May/June it was unusually hot. We made a point of getting back to the resort pool for 2 or 3pm to cool down. DRINK LOTS OF WATER!
