I really really really want to work at Disney. but my school does not support the Disney College Program. Obviously I am going to try everything I can to get them to agree to it, but if it doesn't happen, how else can I get a job there. Preferably in the summer. But a part time job during the year shouldn't hurt too bad, I go to school pretty close to Orlando. Please help!!

thanks!

Until I talk to my adviser on the 9th of June (a week before I leave), I have no idea if I will be eligible for credit through the program. However, to combat losing my financial aid just in case they will not allow me to receive credit, I am taking two online classes. My school requires at least six credit hours to receive financial aid. So, I'm taking two online classes while I'm in California. This will prevent me from A) getting too far behind and B) losing my financial aid for fall. It's something you may want to think about.

Online classes are a great way to go. Also, find out if there is a Campus Rep at your school.

At my school, the registrar told me I would have to drop out and then reapply. That was complete nonsense. Thank God I had a campus rep to set me straight.

What I did was an internship through the business office of my school. We have one professor in particular who serves as an advisor for the Disney Internships. You talk to him, write a paper with your goals, and he approves it. Many schools have something similar. Talk to yoru advisor about setting up internship credit or an independent study.

Out of curiosity: You are aware that the program will require you to take a semester off of school, right? And that you will be working full time hours during that time? I couldn't tell by your post if you did or not.
