Help!

So I'm trying to book my Disney Escape wedding for may 2009 (cause I'm crazy like that) and my consultant WON"T CALL! I called yesterday, left message, and I called this morning and her phone is going straight to voice mail. Am I allowed to call the main number and talk to someone else? This is making me crazy, we have so a little amount of time to plan that I need to know that we have our day. Am I stuck waiting? What can I do?? Help, advice please?

Do you already have a planner assigned or are you waiting for one? If you call the main number they are really only receptionists so I don't know that they would be of much help if you are trying to reach your planner. If you haven't heard from your planner at all then you can call the number and say you are waiting for a planner.

I know it seems like there isn't much time but really there is. Disney does things so differently and with an Escape everything is included so it is really easy. I would ask any questions you have here and start gathering ideas so that when you do speak with your planner you are prepared.

I agree. We had an Escape, and spent most of our time with nothing to do other than planning our trip and odds and ends like invites, favors, etc. They really have it down to a science and while there is variety involved the choices are limited and pretty easy to decide between, IMO.

I understand your frustration, though, as you are close and may need to send invites, etc. out very soon. I found that my planner often took about 48 hours to respond, and generally did so in the afternoons. If you have a planner she may have been busy with weddings, etc.

Have you tried sending an email? I emailed my Escape wedidng and now Wishes Wedding consultants with any questions and I'd get an answer back in about a day if not sooner. I always find email may work better for some people.

I'm waiting for the consultant to call so that I can reserve my date, that's my problem, there are other things I could be doing like calling the officiant or getting plane tickets and hotels for my family, but I can't really do that until I have my date and time, that's what's making me nuts. I know I just need to calm down, but I have an entire family, asking, "Have you heard yet?" "Do we have an official date and time" and I want to tell them YES! but can't until I hear back... It's just making me really cranky

I would just keep calling. That is crazy..you have to get your day booked, it's 2 months away.

Call the main number and set up a phone appt. Or call and tell them that you are really frustrated and would like to be assigned to someone else. We really like Bill, even though he can be a little slow too.
