Ladies please help me! What are some ways to help the pain/itching of a yeast infection!! I can't fall asleep because of it!

Please help:worship::worship:

Thanks!

Do you have a 24 hr drugstore near you? They sell over the counter creams to help with the burning & itching.

I hear ya! I get far to many in a year, for me the over the counter meds do nothing, however if this is rare for you the over the counter should do its job for you fine! wear loose fitting cotton clothing and I hope it clears up for you soon!

Go to the drugstore and buy the 3 day treatment and if you have plain yogurt at home try to eat as much as you can because it has bacteria that will get rid of the infection and only wear cotton underwear.

good luck.

I know this may sound weird, but I used whole garlic, you can google it and find out more about it, it was a life saver as I dont sleep, at all with them and going to the bathroom all night. They are my worst nightmare. So google it and you will see the affects of it. Jo

Call your Doc and ask for a script for Diflucan. It is a pill and it clears it up. I used to always ask for it everytime I was put on an antibiotic!! You should take acidopholis (spell??) pills, which is the active cultures in yogurt. I hate yogurt so I take the pills.

Good luck!

the last time I had one my wonderful insurance co. refused to cover the Diflucan pills. I went to Walmart to buy something over the counter. I absolutely hate the creams and such, I can't stand the mess they make. They had some tablets, I'm blanking on the name but they were maybe $5 or $6, that I'd never noticed before. For that price I figured why not, but bought the cream just in case. The directions said take 2 tablets for an active infection, then 1 tablet each day after (I think, sorry I'm being so vauge, it was last year). Anyway, I never used the cream, the tablets worked great! The pain and itching were gone within a day. It was on the same shelf as the creams, and the box advertised it as a natural alternative to the creams.

Diflucan is generic and cheap now. If insurance won't pay, pay OOP. It is cheaper than the the OTC stuff.
