Hey - do not despair - I have received that before. Tell them that there is a program out there that might help. Reading is Fundamental. :cool1: :rotfl2:

Time for another note - maybe they can only read cliffnotes versions. :thumbsup2

Uh....ok? Perhaps a quick: "Our entire family cannot play VMK because my
son was given a permanent ban unfairly. Please review transcripts of guest
room ____ at this day/time."

Sheesh.

One of their non-response letters... basically you need to send another letter

this time start with... On this date at this time my son xxx was banned from vmk with the reason given being scamming.

I am writing to explain that no scamming occurred on my son's part and wish for you to reinstate his character to the game. Then basically repeat your other letter.

I know it read great- but they are reading so much mail on a daily basis that you do need to have something clear and concise in the beginning that explains what you want- so they know what the thing is about without reading the whole letter. Then it will get shuttled to someone in charge of that sort of complaint and then maybe you will get somewhere.

But I suspect that they looked at the length of your letter and didn't even bother to read it because it doesn't say what you want until about midway through...

So try again- and again and again- and if worse comes to worse let us know a few more details like your son's vmk character name and we will all write requesting that this be looked into... we could even all send in a similar letter to yours lol

good luck again and hang in there

Stay tuned! I'll try as you recommend. :)

Thanks,
Steve

Don't use reply on the mail they sent you back. It will just get you a standard reply saying they closed the file. You need to do the contact us link again to really get someone to read it.

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 I'm very sorry to hear that i think they have a phone number and they sometimes are not treating the players fairly and they just hang up. U can try at least..... :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

The message was signed "VMK_Bear" if anyone knows the member...

and ig they dont do anything u can always ask the donaters for extra since your son lost his account he makes a new one and i will be personally happt to donate! :goodvibes :) :teeth:

Just out of curiousity (and you have already probably tried), has anyone in your family tried logging a character into VMK since the ban? Maybe the time indicated in the message was incorrect and the ban wasn't really permanent. If it was actually for a couple of hours and it expired, that may explain why the staff member indicated he/she was not clear as to the question. Just a thought.

Great thought Bev. Yup, We've all been trying several times a day since B-Day...

Hmmm perhaps I should try right now too ;)

Maybe try a simple note... My son was banned and he didnt do anything wrong. I am his mother and I was there, please look at such and such room at such in such time and you will see that my son did nothing wrong, and was reported by a jerk, who couldnt take advantage of him, and sought revenge.

Thank you for your advise. I have tried a very similar attempt.

Here is the latest from VMK:

"Thank you for your email.

We have closed your original help request, because we felt that our last email to you answered your question. If you need more help, please use the VMK Help Tool again and we will get back to you as soon as we can."

NOTE: They didn't send any reply or information. I am confused as they never answered anything, only asked for my user name...

Unfortunately, you can't just reply to an email as you always get the "we have closed this request" message. You must use the "contact us" each time.

I know it is maddening but just keep trying until you get a real answer and not a canned response. Indicate that it is your fifth (or fourth, or whatever) attempt and that you, as a concerned parent, want a response to your actual question and not a stock answer. Continue to be as polite as you can (difficult at this point, I know).
